Hi,
Google i94 and the link to the portal will be available for your perusal. It’s likely she’s been called for an interview due to her length of stay in any of the previous trips. She’s retired, so there’s no job she was rushing back to Nigeria for…and she can always say she was spending time with her child and grandkids (did she travel during COVID? That can be an excuse for a longer stay).

I believe she’ll be fine at the interview…

Hanzat:
Hello Dampops, my mom visa was refused, after days of administrative processing.
Thank God refusal isn't denial.
Although, I don't know what the reason could be.
The longest she has stayed in the US is for 7 weeks when she went with me for delivery support. Other trips has been 2-3 weeks max.
Also her visa was about to expire in 2016 when she made the trip but wrote to the consulate and she received a response stating she can travel with the visa and the border officer will determine how long she can stay. She arrived US Feb 2016, Visa expired March 2016, at the airport she was stamped in for 6 months.
Can you advice if this could be an issue, I have asked she prints the embassy response to her email, also how do I access the travel portal for more travel information. Thank you.

She didn't travel during COVID, her last US trip was in 2019 for 3 weeks.
Her longest trip was in 2016 for 7 weeks.
Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate all you do on this forum. God bless you.

Submitted my passport using IW on 9th March.

Got an email today that my passport is ready for pick-up. My status on ustraveldocs also reflected that.

Mine is blank.

I just got an email “Your document(s) have been collected from the US Embassy/Consulate”

Is this the pickup email? Or do I have to wait for another?

Please how can I get the Application ID or Case Number? Is it the same thing as the confirmation number on the DS 160 form submitted?

It should be the same as DS160 confirmation number....the Case Number is different. I think it is generated when you send an enquiry/issue to the Consulate via the 'feedback' menu on the interview appointment portal...

Hello Donde, out of curiosity if you don't mind, was your selected DHL pick-up location, Lagos or outside Lagos?

Good evening @HajiaRai, was your selected DHL pick-up location, Lagos or outside Lagos? Just checking because of your passport return timeline.

As a new arrival and you don't have a car and you have to move about in the winter, the winter will brutalize you while taking public transportation. A certain Nigerian woman started crying sometime back when the cold really got to her and the bus didn't arrive on time.It can really be brutal.

It's advisable you go there with your daughter, if your daughter gets to school an hour late, 8t won't hurt her as much as it would hurt you if you get back to the embassy and they tell you your appointment time is past.
nunicelady:
Good afternoon guys,

Please I have an IW appointment for 630am. I also usually drop my daughter off in school at 7. Can I drop my docs at a later time than is scheduled for me on the same day?

Thanks.

They don't follow the appointment timing. It's a matter of queuing, dropping your passport and photograph and leaving.

Good evening Nairalanders, hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

Please I am trying to renew my visa and need help me with these questions:

1. In the application form, what is meant by 'locations you plan to visit in the US?' Is it a reference to tourist sites or cities within the US?

2. Will it impact my application in any way, if I arrive in one state (e.g Washington) and depart from another (e.g California)? I need to know how best to respond to the question about arrival and departure City and this will also help me plan my movement within the US.

Thank you all so much
