Thanks. Yes I will update you.

Can you suggest a salary scale? It's a big company.

Just a piece of what I forgot to push in my previous thread on chronicles of how I transitioned to data.
I understand some new comers may be asking what’s the salary range that should be quoted during an interview.
So I will be using myself as an example. I would also want experienced data gurus to chip in their range.
I started on 165k as net as my 1st data job. Fully remote.. then 225k then 290k to 400k
Now >= 500k
However these increments were due to efforts and years of experience.
Inputs are welcomed.

Am new here, i recently started learning System Testing (still self-learning). I have been very fascinated with Data analysis, make i no lie basically because of the PAY grin. so nice to see such forum here online.

Please if there are enthusiast like me, especially the new ones who are based in Lagos/environs like me, lets form a roundtable and maybe read, discuss together, possibly find a tutor, stuffs like that you know.
I do believe in like minds communicating, it keeps the spirit burning and help each other to the top.

Truth is, we are fighting poverty not a race on who will be the best.

Wow, nice! Lets say I'm good on just three out of those 6 you listed (excel, mysql and power Bi/tableau), will i be able to land a job as an analyst with just these three skills? In your own opinion pls?

Definitely. But believe me you'll still need Python (some librariesor) or Maybe R if you really don't want to be found lacking.

Good morning everyone.
It’s been a long time since I commented but hope you all are doing great.
Been trying to share stories of my highs and lows.
1. My highs
2. Resigning my job last year august
3. Started another job Immediately after resigning
4. Losing over 5.5 ETH …..didn’t even mention $100DOT
5. Started a new challenge on blockchain

Just wondering where I can post this under a section, jobs, diary or here ?

I’ve also heard some good testimonies how some have gotten jobs and internships.. I know it’s not easy but we are all gonna make it.

Best regards to everyone

Thank you for the motivation.
It would be pleasant to talk to you

In this video, we talked about PowerBI and how to use its DAX platform to write logical conditions. As I used to say, know your Excel very well, then, you will easily transist to other Data analytical tools because most of these tools use Excel syntax. Therefore, you will learn how to use IF, SWITCH and SWITCH with True in PowerBI to achieve the same purpose. You will also learn how to rename data table, add columns, rename columns and export data into PowerBI.
You can't afford not to watch this very interesting video. If you have not subscribed to my YouTube channel, please endeavor to do so as to get notifications when we upload new contents.
I remain your humble guy, Ibraheem Babatunde, Excel Guru.

Glad to see this thread still making progress. If you are interested in data science tutorials and/or lectures at beginner to intermediate level, watch out for this space smiley. I'll be offering a series of lectures in the coming months for those interested who want to transition or stay motivated. Lectures may be paid though, cos my observation from giving free lectures is that they hardly make any significant impact.
