Yorubas have nothing to prove to anyone. Only Igbos with small d1cks who are obsessed with dumb comparisons because they always worry about 'measuring up'.

No Yoruba is going to any village to begin snapping pics to post on Nairaland on what should be family and relaxation time.

We are secure and not driven by a need to brag to validate ourselves because we don't have self-esteem issues as Igbos do.
My dad is Lagos and I know my people too well

Just say the truth, most Yoruba have nothing to call there own

Banana island is a city , the photos above is a village

The difference

Lol. This ignorant and hateful kid again. Banana Island is an artificial Island, like Eko Atlantic, in the Eti Osa local government area of Lagos.

Obvious you don't know what a City is but would it kill you to google before you talk to avoid embarrassing yourself?

Hahaha.....It is obvious that you have not being to Lagos let alone Banana Island wink

Just look at the few average houses you compare to Banana Island which houses the corporate headquarters of Multinationals such as Airtel, Etisalat/9mobile, Internatiomal Breweries, Ford Foundation, residences of Forbes Billionaires like Mike Adenuga(GCON) , Aliko Dangote(GCON) etc.. You need to leave the SE and experience Lagos other than just wishing you are part of us.
show us FAMILY houses in your VILLAGES. We don't need buildings of corporate headquarters of multinationals.

Without sounding immodest,I am not from a village and my ancestral family house is not even in a village wink That does not mean I am better than others from villages. In the face of God, we are equal before Him.

Your dad is Lagos? What exactly does that mean? You need to focus on developing personal integrity.

To me you seem too young to be jaded, clannish and damaged by tribalism as you are. Something is wrong with you. Work it out and you can be a productive and winning Nigerian.

You could go further than the likes of Akabueze, Igbokwe etal if you understand it is okay to be Igbo and love/respect/value your Yoruba host in Lagos.

Many Nigerians are outstanding citizens of their foreign host nations, outside Africa, because of how they are able to commit to improving the land that has given them the prosperity, success and dignity they did not have in their nation of origin.

Never so with you Igbos who make the money to build these Village mansions from SW States yet remain dedicated to hating and undermining Yorubas.

Your enemy-within and parasitic use of Lagos, against Yorubas, will never work out for you.

What hate? You're the hater. You have no objectivity towards Lagos and Yorubas. That is wrong my guy.

Look at exemplary Nigerians living outside Nigeria worldwide. Many are an asset to their host nations and have earned important political positions there with the full trust of their host community.

Not so you Igbos who remain enemies of your hosts instead of seeking to partner and grow with them.

People have learnt over the years that many mansions built in villages deteriorate over time. The children they are built for have different values or live abroad. What Fred Ajudua said about acquisition of properties (if true) is a reference point. Sustainability is key. How will the houses be maintained upon the death of the owner? Even while alive, a house one stays in for a few weeks just 2ce a year isn't well utilised. That's where the problem lies. It's the reason why more people are building smaller though beautiful houses in some villages. Just enough space to live in when necessary and more compact for easy maintenance.

Many of the "brown roof" houses in the SW were mansions in the 50s and 60s.

Sad thing is that he would likely be a productive Lagosian who could go far as a genuine 'gatekeeper' of the State , regardless of ethnic origin, if anti-Yoruba hateful indoctrination has not ruined every core decency he had.

Many Nigerians are sources of pride, more than even indigenes, in host nations they find themselved in after relocating in search of better socio-economic opportunities.

Igbos must always be enemies-within to Yorubas in Yoruba land. They want to enjoy our hospitality and opportunities in the SW but remain our haters undermining us worldwide any chance they get.

Unusual behaviour indicate of unsettled, conflicted and disruptive minds. They are something else.
