Why speak so bad about other app's, but go subtly on Lagride. The guy is a greedy bastard... drivers should just ignore him, if Lagos start government give him power, so be it. He keeps hammering on 4 riders, then what's the value of privacy then? It's ok to sell their products, but he shouldn't hide under protecting drivers.

Idris is plane stupid, he's not worthy of a leader

I think the bolded solved most of the debate going on here about uber/bolt.

I could remember when you were running around Lagos and also singing praises of Uche then, I guess this break gave you a reason to think beyond the horizon.

Yeah..Travelling outside the shores of his country has opened new frontiers. His eyes has opened, like when christ healed the blind.
I could remember Ushe, telling them not to go on vacation, not to go on break, blablabla. Telling them all that if they took such decision, who is going to move Lagos.

Just less than 10days ó in Dubai, his eyes don clear. What if God blesses him the more, he travels to Singapore, Paris, Los Angeles....his orientation changes...

That's why you see, when issues are propped up on this forum, Few can only comprehend what is being said, simply because of Hunger&Poverty that has beclouded their reasoning.
Now see the essence of exposure, GeneralZodd don kon dey wine&dine with Arabian girls, they discuss Gold bars, think big...rather than discussion of "gala in the sun" grin tales of uche
Its sad

Yes, you're right. Reality might dawn on him when he returns to shithole, but it won't erase the memories of how life ought to be (arguably). What GeneralZodd would be seeing in reality now would be synonymous to the pictures of paradise being mirrored by Jehovah's witnesses in front-page of their watchtower magazine.

I remember during my undergraduate days as a katangite, one of my roommate traveled to represent the school in badminton in Botswana, just 2 weeks in Gaborone... He came back and no one rest for a whole session till he graduated. Few sentence from my guy lips, Gaborone must enter....why? He has seen something different from the usual.

This is a reasonable contribution...if this is what u always say, nobody will argue with u, Cos this is true.
This is significantly different from outrightly saying the work is not good, it's not worth it and discouraging people from doing it.

How will it sound if I point out that even guys that collect 500k per event buy camera worth almost N3million, collect and furnish studio with almost 2million, then pay salaries cos they can't do it alone just in the guise of making it seem like that 500k pay per event isn't worth it. How will it look? Or if I say how easy is it to get event every month?

So u see, for me, I feel if u find something that is profitable for u, go ahead and do it, if u like u can show others the way, if not just chop ur cake in peace.
A guy came and posted about Data Analysis, how he learnt it and how it helped him land an overseas job. That I think is someone who wants the best for others, he has told others what to do, and how to do it to enjoy a better life. Not just to come and be talking down on what people are currently doing and castigating it.

Mehn anybody that doesn't have a better alternative to this hussle should never come and talk trash about it cos it has done marvelous things that even the blind can see it. I am not saying it's d best thing anybody can do, or it doesn't have challenges, but my point is that it is profitable.

Well said bro. Most people that say traveling are not telling you guys the reality.....

Now if you are traveling to the USA to stay. And you land and u no get papers to work . You will end up what they call " under the table job" .

You are not different from the Mexicans that are doing all these menial jobs with no benefits. Since you are not in the country legally or ur stay has expire. You end bouncing around from menial jobs to another. And these jobs don't pay sh#t .. The money u make is just for u to eat . And even getting a place of ur own is another battle .......

But if u lucky to find someone to arrange papers for via marrying a citizen . Than u are on ur way to progression .. That paper level self get its on issues too. But if no get any papers that will allow to stay legally and work . You are wasting your time .

The USA immigration rules are getting tighter and tighter now . And If Trumps decides to run for 2024 and wins. Trump will now enforce tighter immigration rules .

Than God forbid if na Europe u say wan enter .. Goodluck to you .because u will need it . Am not here to discourage anyone o. But people should be objective about the reality of traveling etc.

Sure, exploration is how we grow. Sometimes I enter some estate and get so mad at myself... like does the people living there have 2 heads. You know one thing about belief and convention? It has a way of tieing one down, some of us may not be able to do what others does to get by.

This remind me of experience in village. Anytime I am around and see how things r going, those building fine houses, I'll be like I need to wake up, I'm not just in Lagos to Jones. A weeks after settling back to Lagos life, eyes focus on survival, bills no let man see plans again grin

I remember one day I got home and got emotional.
That was some months after luck-down.

1st trip to v.i from surulere.
VI to Ikotun.
LASU road ikotun/Igando to Ikorodu.
Ikorodu to Agege.
Agege to yaba.

I practically touched/drove_through every part of lagos that day, yet I didn't make more than 25k net(after commission only). And I did all the trips online.

That was the day I realized that moving Lagos up and down is not my life's calling.

Lolzz.

What do you expect from someone that increases his fleet of cars every year but still have only 3cars on his fleet since 2016?

Progression bro. Your failure to think outside the box is why u are getting emotional and frustrated ......

I came from humble beginnings. I started small and I made mistakes along. And I was willing to adapt to my business environment .....

So I progress from an uber partner to an importer. As we speak now, I will be loading my second container for the year.

And also I was able to close another deal on a 2008 xc90 . I will be posting pictures and videos as soon I get a chance.. Dru23 has become the number 1 engine oyel importer on this forum. So you see my progressions from the start...

Life is not fair my brother. You have to be willing to get ur hands dirty and work. You have to put in that time. You don't expect me just to do uber alone , I move into areas of the business. I didn't cry or complain . I just work and out work harder people......

My importation journey all started from uber and I thank God for that. I also humble myself and was willing to ask questions.......

When life gives us lemon, try and make lemonade .. Don't be afraid or shy to ask for help. If you need my help am willing to help. I can't give u money, but I will give u consultation , that is worth more than money...

Give a man fish and u feed him for a day . but if u teach a man how to fish , you can feed him for life ...
This is my email bro dru23@hotmail send me a mail and let's see how I can help you ...cheers
