If you are the guy ( NYSC logo somewhere in your car) some last man wanted to toll your car yesterday at the entrance of a company, where almost all the staff came out to defend you that you were actually coming to their company to make some findings , congrats .
But pls !!!

When I saw the scene, I said this could be any of my people at this thread .

Wow, exactly the same thing happen to a co-worker on tuesday..That fourpoint/access bank road, it was a 7 seater shuttle, he parked in front of the office to quickly hail guys, na so lastma show o, we all rushed out, I was particularly vexed because the lastma guy is well known to me, he towed my car at d same spot about 3 month ago and despite all pleas and long leg, we got to sura and I eventually paid 5k (they term it towing vehicle fees), na so I change am for the guy yesterday, I almost got into a physical fight...He left in shame..
Unfortunately, the same co-worker call this morning that lastma arrested him around bonny camp, took him to sura, paid 30k and when he was driving out of sura, he started insulting the lastma guys in their yard, na so them ARREST am again, gave him a ticket to go to LASDRI office, when he got there those ones ask him to pay 5k and that he will be trained for 3 days...Lol

These occurrences dey spoil biz for bolt small small

The moment people started registering with fake drivers license and vehicle papers, it was only a matter of time.

When people say Bolt is safe and those complaining on twitter on are fake accounts from competitors, I just laugh.

Everybody eye go soon clear especially if Bolt does not take drastic measures to address these lapses.

I rent out all my vehicles at N35000 per week do all the repairs, isn’t N27,500 on the low side considering the cost of repairs

It is but should be the lowest amount any partner should collect except he has access to cheap cars like Dru.

The more you look the less u see......How are sure those cars are not rented
Most supercars in dubai are bought on Credit. Buyers pay 10% - 30% down payment and the remaining is spread for 1-5years. I was told there are places in Dubai where they auction exotic cars at cheap prices.

Is not like Naija where someone will carry all the money in his bank account and buy car. All that is required is a mouth watering Job and good credit score. Then u re good to go.

Some Naija guys are doing well there. especially in I.T field, They can afford it. It's even more expensive to rent cars in a long-term because the hourly rate is very exorbitant.

So many people here started E hailing for different reasons, some have met their target and moved on just the same way more people are venturing into it. You said you been driving for about 4/5 yrs right? Every biz has its own hassles so let's not go into that. But you were able to save 4mil, you decided to take a trip to Dubai right? Then all of a sudden what made it possible has turned to a plague in your eyes and you have automatically turned to a career specialist and life coach. If you take 1.5mil from 4mil that's how much? You don't just throw something that assisted you to save 4 mil into the trash and I know you know E-hailing is one of the safest way to save money if you are hardworking and disciplined though things have been shaky since. My brother go and hustle very hard to raise that capital. If it is by moving Lagos up and down. Just do it . for you to be successful you have to be willing to do things others are not willing to do. This is what will separate you from others.......

Once you are able to achieve that goal, you will appreciate better than me giving you a loan. There is nothing like getting it from the mud .. It makes your success sweeter.....

Look at Davido now , I might not be a huge fan of his music. But I respect his hustle, all cars and houses are from his sweat and not from daddy. This is why he can do has he pleases. He worked hard, he might not have talent like others. But he worked harder and smarter...

I don't know why some very ignorant and gullible individuals are believing these daughters of Satan. None of these stories add up.

So far, we haven't heard of any actual kidnap incident or robbery on the Uber/Bolt app lately in Lagos. No police report, nothing concrete. Just some scared and attention seeking low lives coming on social media to lay false claims. These madness started after the BRT kidnap incident. Every stupid girl that uses Bolt now thinks she's being kidnappped.

I agree that Bolt needs to get serious about random photo verication of drivers but it's not all that bad as every trip can still be scrutinized, regardless.

I emplore those who drive on these platforms to look out for their pictures and faces on social media. You post my face or picture for any reason at all, you will get seriously sued and arrested. If you have issues with a driver or a ride, go to police or complain to the app company. There's also an option of sharing your ride with family and friends for security reasons.

I don't know why we are so engrossed with ghetto mentality in this country. Every system gets abused, even social media. Pathetic.

I wrote this long time ago kiss

Ghost1994:

Best advice to car owners that’s doing ehailing as full time in this January is…….

1. Park your car at home Tuesday to Friday
2. Hustle only Monday and weekends
3. Go to Coursera/udemy etc find a good course you can do that’ll develop your skill.
4. For people below 40yrs you can still apply for ui/ux or graphics designer at least be doing 4hrs a day and use this moment to eat well and rest well.
5. Whatever you’ve made in December, buy 50k worth of foodstuffs at home pay half of school fees and replan yourself on how to embark on new journey
6. Keep this in mind, ehailing is just to keep body and soul together. look for better things to do
7. Buhari has advised every youth to go into farming… so get connected to your friends in the village and plant maize/okra/tomatoes etc on large scales
8. Start something new (open a viewing center with budget of 200k to 300k if you get better location you can open a viewing center)
9. Game stations shop (buy 2 ps2 and 2 ps3 consoles, find a shop in a secondary school environment, buy uk used 20inchs tv 4 pieces with 250k you set up this and small generator) whatever you generate from here, save it.
10. Start looking for job
11. With weekends hustle you can be saving 30k
12-1000. Ehailing is just to keep body and soul

Have a great day ahead

Meanwhile a lot of private cars operate thier phones while driving, but na bolt drivers own dem wan take catch cruise! Even though it's not safe, she should have told him when she was on the trip, not recording and posting on social media!

Na so I pick one lady today from island to ikosi. Immediately she entered, she asked me how to share her ride, I said I don't know. She said ok, she has seen it and she has shared it. I didn't even answer her. She was looking at me, and all around the car.

I was waiting for the light to turn green again when rider started calling again and tyen I saw a taskforce van parking in front of me, waiting happen again now I thought to my self.

Exactly this. All I see here is lack of ambition. You cant say youve been driving for few years and you can't afford to buy another car, even if naija uzed and put on rental to compliment your own earning, from there you move to other businesses as you earn more. They should observe kanuisgoat, pearl1910

People dont want to scale up but just want to be driving just a car and earning millions in a month to build mansion.

Nobody is saying ehailing is the best but it os better than average jobs around and you can use its proceeds to move to something else.

I still wonder why people are stuck with driving they hate so bad when they claim there are other easier and better jobs around

Well said bro ...... Nobody is saying you should drive forever. Life is all about progression. You start small and move up . As ur a starting u finds ways to move up. You can start as an uber driver to becoming a partner. Look at Pearl1910 he drives and he is also partner ..........
Myself as an example I started as an uber partner to now loading container of goods ...

Even if you doing a 9 to 5 Job .. Don't sit down there for 30 yrs and help build somebody else dreams. Try and invest in other things. Try and build ur own dream or at least have something to fall back on. Don't be a slave to any man or any company. Start from humble beginnings .......

What an experience Feli. Sorry bro. Mine was even worse!

Last week I passed that opebi roundabout(turning right goes to toyin, making u turn goes back to Allen) I wanted to go back to Allen. Immediately I made the u-turn, these police officers stopped me and said I made a wrong turn.
They pulled me over and said I should bring my driver's licence, I said I don't have it here. They said I should bring my car keys, I said I can't cos it's mine and not their's.
Their Oga said he'll show me.
I was there for almost 30 mins waiting. Immediately I saw they gocked, Omo, I enter car zoom off. The Oga tried to chase me with a bike, but I don japa!
Meanwhile the lady I picked, told me to end the trip when they stopped me. Amount came to ₦600, she refused to pay; saying it's too high, that I picked her from Allen junction. because I was busy with the police, I told her to go if she doesn't want to pay, and the thief left! Fine babe o! ₦600 she no get, but they will come on Twitter and be castigating bolt drivers.

On Tuesday I passed isolo(going to mushin), immediately I got down from the bridge, after the police checkpoint, one request came in, I just moved by the side to check, I didn't even stay up to 30 secs, those CDA guys came and told me to wind down. I did. The one by the passenger's side just dipped hand inside and opened the car and then entered. He said I parked at a wrong place, and that I should follow them to their office, I said I can't. I started my car and put it in drive to move, this guy put it back to park. I was like; are you dragging my car with me? Before I could say jack, this guy put off the car and tried to remove the key. We started dragging the key. I overpowered him and collected my keys from him. Then they brought a towing van to tow my car. Then another 2 entered the back. Omo, I was confused, I started shouting, ole ole, ara'adugbo egbami o(thief thief, people come and save me o)
Omo see mothers and men just came around and started begging them to leave me.
Their Oga said I called them thief. The people said I should apologize to them. Meanwhile, the other CDA guys had already front-chained my car to the towing van.
I now came out and begged them as the women advised. One mama almost knelt down begging them. They said I should drop something. I said I don't have anything to drop. Their Oga said I'm very stubborn. Long story short, they eventually told me to go.

The wahala wey dey this job, no easy at all. Especially for Lagos. God go help us

I saw aboki okada riders dislodging police officers who arrested their okada at Allen junction this morning. Menh, just 4 of them carried daggers entered the RRS task force lorry and started rolling their okada down from the vehicle. When the officers challenged them, they brought out daggers and charged at the officers. Come see our yeye officers who couldn't do anything. Las las they released tear gas which didn't deter them but rather caused inconvenience for passers-by.

Our police officers are just damn useless, only sabi harass harmless civilians.
