How many Nigerians are in South Africa actually?? Are they up to 50,000? I don't think they are up to 50,000 and 50,000 is not even up to 0.05 % of the Nigerian population.

Give me the link that says 800,000 Nigerians live in South Africa. The one I saw says as at 2016, about 30,000 Nigerians were in South Africa.

No right thinking person would say that, unless the person is trying to be funny, if not it will be very hilarious for any one to think that a small country like Mauritius comes any where close to South Africa not to talk of being better. I don't like deception and lies, as much as i dislike how some South Africans talks bad about Nigeria i can never be part of those that condemn South Africa as a country, though i frown at how her citizens are killing nationals of other African countries residing in South Africa, but truth be told, no other African country comes even close to South Africa in almost every thing. That's the hard truth. Nigeria is only big in population, apart from that even the Mauritius is better. We should start telling ourselves the hard truth, Nigeria is a complete failed nation, and any one supporting the impunity going on in Nigeria is either being mischievous or the person has never left the shores of Nigeria, period.

I'll recommend the francophone African countries, between Senegal and Ivory coast. I'll recommend Ivory coast though. Firstly because they have a reasonable functioning government, so issues such as electricity, security, good roads and water, food and the very basic are guaranteed. You can earn and enjoy your money in peace.

But most importantly, you do not need a visa to stay there permanently since you're covered under the ecowas protocols. If you don't mind learning French, believe me you'll enjoy any of these countries. I've been there, so I know. But if learning French is an headache for you, consider Ghana or Gambia.

You can even succeed anywhere in regards of the language barrier. I lived in Senegal for more than 3 years and made it from there to the United States . All my time in Senegal I didn't speak French just the basics for daily survival. At the end of the day it was God's Favour and Grace.

First of all stop with the generalization "you guys" coz not all Africans wanna visit much less settle in SA and 2nd i'm not Nigerian . 3rd is you challenged me for "better countries than SA" then you shifted the goalposts when you're proven wrong.

When Jan Van Riebeeck settled there 400yrs ago SA had a huge headstart ahead of Ghana,Nigeria ,Zambia ,Senegal etc and the ensuing huge settlement of European settlers had a big impact too.So when you say you're "better" its important to give context.
Don't get me wrong SA has some wonderful aspects and stats but its wrong to paint oneself as "the ultimate Eldorado of Africa" to the point some SAn's paint themselves unAfrican when flying to Tz,Mozambique ,Gabon etc they say "they're going to Africa" yet there's some few African countries ahead of SA in certain stats and quality of life.

There you go again . Your assumption wrongly presupposes that only SA receives Visa applications from other Africans seeking entry aside UK & USA.

There's other African nations with immigrant Visa applications from sister African nations and a healthy dose of immigrants too.These people wouldn't move there if they "aren't viable" as your statement above implies.

No,I'm completely aware that there's no African country without immigrants but let's be honest,no African country has suffered a huge influx of immigrants (legal & otherwise) the way SA has.

I wonder where you get your own data because things are actually working here... Moving to another African country won't make things automatically work. They have their own set of corrupt leaders and unemployment.
