I wouldn't pay a dime to go watch the game based on what I saw today very poor game. None of the team will make it past group stages at Qatar |

Going away in Ghana, playing Infront of those intimidating Ghanaian fans with desperate Ghanaian footballs that are ready to redeem their image after a AFCON disaster and getting a 0-0 scoreline by Super Eagles is by far no beans. I agree SuperEagles had a better chance of winning the first leg...But it was no so easy as we dey see am for TV... From all analyst... SuperEagles have done a decent job picking a point under intense pressure.. They will play better in front of their own fans too.. Super Eagles to fin in Abuja! 6 Likes |

Abeg which formation then even play yesterday. Those naija guys were falling up and down. Just few of them like Aina & Osimhen wey dey charge. The midfield was weak. Showed Ndidi is actually the rock in that team. Our wingers nothing. Make Eguavon carry Chidera come oo cos that dude has speed and skills... If possible sef bring Anthony Nwakaeme... 1 Like |

robosky02: Beautiful! Another new wine in old bottles. Another beautiful wheat among many tares. Another tender lamb lost in the jungle. If this beauty could talk, the only words would be - take me away from here! As beautiful as it is, it looks so unfitting and feels so uncomfortable where it found itself. It's like a beautiful toy in the muddy pigsty. How great would it have been if the economy, society, lifestyle and state of things could sync with this, so that this would be a perfect depiction of our society. Sadly, this is just another beauty in the jungle. A whited sepulchre at best. When will Nigeria society do away with vices, corruption, hate, brutish lifestyle, jungle lifestyle, shedding of innocent blood, poverty, ignorance and shithole living? Few beautiful buildings here and there cannot turn hell into a paradise. Except the foundation be fixed and revolution hits everywhere. We need to rebuild black African society from scratch. This continent is still stuck in the stone ages. African only seem to fit-in a bit into this era and rest of the world because of some advancement rubbing off on it from developed continents. It is more like creaming a dead body with expensive perfume. Africa is a shithole. Africa fix yourself and stop pretending to be what you're not. |

They did well to avoid defeat in Ghana. The defence line anchored by Balogun & Ekong was impressive. But several of our big names performed below par & need to step up their games. &Eguaveon should be more tactful with his substitutions. Victoria Acerta! . ✌️ 1 Like

Johel: Who remembers Nigeria vs South Africa at the same Abuja Stadium in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers? The Eagles needed a win against Bafana Bafana to at least better Congo in that decider, but slumped to a 2 goal lead, before rallying back with a brace from Aluko to end it 2-2. We didn't qualify for that AFCON thus failing to defend the title we won back in 2013. I know Nigerians have short memory when it comes to politics and sports, but this is a cautionary tale for y'all. Ghana could get a score draw and qualify; so we have to be extremely careful on Tuesday. Don't put too much pressure on the Eagles I beg una. 2 Likes 1 Share |

SandraIkuboR:It's not about being satisfied. It's about how disjointed and disorganized the team is. We watch club matched every weekend and we see how organized the teams are. Our wingers hold on to the ball for too long while trying to beat their markers. As such, it gives the opposition time to organise themselves. We can't force any team out of shape with that tactics. Our best bet is hoping our wingers can navigate like Messi. Isn't that asking for too much? I can't coach them myself because I'm not a coach. But I've seen enough of football to know when a team keeps repeating same thing it's the coaches instruction they're executing. Eguavoen's ineptitude is killing this team! |

Ghana vs Nigeria: We must win in Abuja to qualify – Jay Jay Okocha warnsPublished on March 26, 2022 By Ifreke Inyang Former Nigeria captain, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, has said the current crop of players have to beat Ghana in the reverse leg of their 2022 World Cup playoff to qualify. Okocha stated this during his post-match analysis on Super Sports, following a drab 0-0 draw in the first leg on Friday. The Super Eagles, who came into the encounter as favourites, failed to impress and did not convert the few chances they created. The reverse fixture will be played on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja. Okocha said: “If we cannot win our match at home, then we don’t deserve to be at the 2022 World Cup. “We must win to qualify. And we will be playing in front of our fans. “What other advantage do we need?” 1 Like |
