Why not heaven is sure, even if you give your life to Christ a few minute before death you are going to heaven, remember the thief on the right hand side of Jesus nailed with him at Calvary only said remember me in your kingdom before his death and he made heaven. By my understanding, God looks at the heart. The man that was crucified alongside with Jesus felt the guilt of sins committed and psalm 51: 17b says " a broken and a contrite heart, he(God) will not despised " if we at a critical condition seek God, he knows the motive already. Permit me to say that, he proves us wrong in our believe system. Some recover from such terrible situation and fall back to previous sin yet die in the same sin still. But if we truly feel sorry for our sin not only because of our situation but how we lived our life, he( God) forgives completely and make it to heaven.

I believe God exist and other gods/deities exist. You believe that god does not exit, no problem at all. But the things that are and things we see point out clearly even by reasoning to a fact that there is a Supreme Intelligence behind all manifestations. Who is this Supreme Intelligence?

To me that Supreme Intelligence is God.
