Dont blame AE after afcon he said he wanted to return to his role as technical director but you refused... What stopped the nff from getting an experienced international coach for the two games, ghana did so why couldnt nigeria ?

NFF are not totally to blame, cos Nigerians asked for it. While some asked that he be given the role from inception, cos he's Nigerian, others started supporting Eguaveon after SE's first two AFCON matches.

Now we're back to Akpeyi. grin

MEERY GO ROUND grin

You people have quickly forgotten that what made Akpeyi to be blamed was not even Mahrez freekick. He fumbled throughout the entire AFCON. There was one when he was given a back pass and it almost entered the net. He will jump on a corner and spill the ball.

Andrew you sef get mind to dey campaign for Akpeyi. Someone Kaizer Chiefs is hoping to offload this year. He hasn't even played since January.

Why won’t I be back to akpeyi to use as an example since una rate Maduka ans uzoho wey don cost una grin

With your uzoho and Maduka naija no go smell semi finals for that afcon

Akpeyi is 36 ,he won’t play forever ,the point remains that he didn’t do errors at tournaments like lord Maduka and lord uzoho ,weda kazier chief wan offload am or not no consign me

No change mouth ,90 percent of people blame am for mahrez freekick

Okoye's blasting was because he is fine and a lady's man.

So, most of the men were just full of envy. Their comments always referred to fine boy ,model, women, instagram, etc.

Instead of them to focus on their attackers and midfielders that refused to score, na Maduka dem face.

Our attackers did not score in open play on the 2 legs. How can go to the world cup without scoring goals? If by chance you land there by a stroke of luck, na disgrace u go carry come from there.

I'm just trying to remember all the funny things I've read on this thread since the AFCON exit. I'll be naming them one by one as I remember

1) 'Nwakaeme is too old for this team. We have a plethora of wingers who are better than him'. Well I guess Ahmed Musa and underperforming Chukwueze are the 'better wingers'.

2) 'Uzoho cannot make that kind of mistake that Maduka made. Uzoho is more confident.' Maybe nah his agbero face dey deceive una. They are both the same.

The naked hypocrisy and bigoted double displayed by so many here is off the scale. It blatant and SHAMELESS.

I was waiting to see people slate and condemn Uzoho for making us loose the world cup spot.

But NO not a word, his error is significantly worse than the error of Okoye the ball went under his body Thar's a Huge gafg and school boy error.

Okoye error was that he was not able to get enough force on a ball that bobbled just before his hand got it to it.

The hypocrisy here is just without measure.

I disagree they are not both the same, Uzoho is worse.

You are just attacking. You are not really making a point.

Today, I became bitter because I have seen we will not play the way I want and also we have influences that will not allow it happen.

For instance, we needed Iheanacho towards the end. But, he must play Ighalo. No one should tell me anything, it is influenced. Iheanacho is the only striker we have that can drop deep and hit a decent pass. He is good at crossing. He has a good shooting range.

Should Musa come in ahead of someone like Amoo?
[/quote].

On form KC should not be in the team, 2 goals in the EPL all season is not inspiring.

Musa should go ahead of Amoo who has no basis to be in the SE.

I think Emmanuel Dennis and lookman should replace chukweze and Moses on the wing going forward. Igalo and Musa should leave the national team.

Which chances did Osihmen missed?

Listen, we didn’t create even one clear cut chance over the two legs. Victor buried the only chance he had but unfortunately he was offside.

We played without a system, hence we couldn’t create chances. Pumping high balls into the box isn’t creating chances. Our problem in these two games was 100% tactical.

O pari

He had two clear chances that a top quality striker should be hit the target with at least. But many call me him world class here. So he failed in this crucial game to show true quality.

No mind am.

Well everybody have their sentiments and reason why they support a particular player, sometimes the reason might be flimsy may not make sense but 90% of the time it is not envy.

Komekn might prefer UK based players, Idenna might prefer Nigeria groomed players and so on but you can't say Idenna is envying the UK based player that's why he's always talking down on them.

I feel there is no need for a new thread if it will still be composed of the old users. Given the history of the thread right from when we failed to make afcon due to the loss against Egypt, we have won games, lost games, insulted each other, made friends, formed cliques and all. This thread is a memory that should never be deleted. It is a place we have come to call home. As tradition, we should just change the name of the thread to reflect current situation. We still have afcon qualifiers to look forward to. Hopefully this would allow us to be realistic in our expectations of the team
I recommend a new name for this thread: Dream Eagles "Time to Rebuild from the scratch" Abi Andrewbaba44 how you take see am

That does not prove anything ooo. Are u saying northerners are the only disruptive fans? Because that would be wrong. I can point out situations in almost every city with an NPFL club.
