ShowYoung:I will like the gurus in the house to look into the question above. I am in the same category, I have an active express entry profile. I just applied for PNP for one the Canadian province two weeks ago. I want to apply for study permit with the new portal. I hope the application will not give any room for dual intent. Also, I am using my mutual funds statement as proof of funds. it usually comes with a cover letter addressed to the embassy stating that the funds can be liquidated at anytime. I hope this wont be a problem since the funds are not currently domiciled in my regular bank account. I have been reading how people had issues using fixed deposit certificate as proof of funds in the past. I am self funded with approximately 22,000 Canadian dollars. Tuition is approximately 13,000 dollars, I was fortunate to receive a partial funding of 5,400 dollars. I don't plan paying any deposit till i receive my visa Lastly I want to confirm if IELTS is compulsory on this new platform as i see most people included their results as part of the application requirement. Has anyone gotten PPR in the new platform without IELTS? |

A one year program will give you a 1-year work permit. A two year program will give you a 3-year work permit. I think that’s better… But then, it all depends on what your end goal is. Chibexe: |
