Na Cameroon useless pass, theirs is just to qualify for the World Cup. They wouldn't do play anything. |

M7even:Ghana didn't bring any spirit against Nigeria. They were just lucky to play against a really useless Nigerian side. Based on our performance, had it been we had qualified the odds of we qualifying out of the group would be low. We don't possess enough quality right now to compete comfortably in that group. It's all speculation though. Football is a funny business. Do you have any adopted team in this world cup? |

JohnBullMySon:I'm not talking emotions. You play all the fine tactics and then one shot lands in the net. Where's your tactics? All I know is that both of them are not good enough to be keeping for us. If you are satisfied with saves made in friendlies, if you are satisfied with having goalkeepers that you cannot count on to make crucial saves and help take your team across the line, that is for you. I want more |

Mujtahida:Akpeyi doesn't perform as you think in the PSL. There was only a season where was outstanding and that was the year he became our no1 at the AFCON. Right now. he doesn't even see action and they're already about to sell him. I don't think Okoye is scared of anything. He rather seems like a person who doesn't even give a f*ck. He just happens to have high reflexes that he hasn't been able to control fully. That has become his plus and minus at the same time and that's why he seems jittery. If you've watched him at Sparta, you'll see that he's very intelligent and has quick reaction. but that quick reactive trait causes him to judge the ball prematurely at times. That's why he misjudged a spinning ball for a straight one at AFCON, leading to a terrible mistake. |

Amedino99:I've always loved Dutch football from my first World Cup in 1998. I expect at lest a semis. The quality isn't there like in the past but it's still a team to watch if you want to enjoy good footie |

charlesemeka85:Are you really a two-faced, rootless person? As in the team loses and perhaps as a way to deal with the pain you start mocking and laughing at the team? Omo |

andrewbaba44:See any seasoned football lover might have this experience: when I first started watching football, I quickly realized that club football is different from national team football. I don't know how to express it but I'd say that the impression I have is that club football is easy compared to national team football. So you'd see a player going blazes in his club and struggle in the national team. Of course good players maintain their form across both categories of the game but when you see Osimhen or Denis perform for their clubs, you will praise them. It's not hype. If you watch Icon4s and Kog45, they are usually measured in their assessments of players because experience has tampered their expectations but most of the youngins here, una blood still dey hot. |

andrewbaba44:Italy won Euro with all the fine quality teams that contested in that tournament. Few months later they are not going to be at Qatar having been knocked out by North Macedonia of all teams. E dey happen abeg. Angola knocked us out in 2006. From that time, these years we have lived since then seemed so far but here we are. We have even attended 3 WCs since then. E dey happen ooo. E dey happen |

komekn:Yes Group captain John Obakpolor.....we also have Air comodore Anthony Ikhazobor but the best NFF all time president is Air comodore Emeka Omeruah who brought real branding and corporate sponsor to Nigeria football...under his tenure Nigeria qualified for her first FIFA WC ,won Afcon for second time, won Olympic gold in 1996 and also U 17 WC in 1993 .It was the same Omeruah as sports minister that Nigeria won first FIFA U 17 WC in 1985.....more reason i said some need to dig into archive before saying Pinnick is the best to happen to Nigeria football. |

charlesemeka85:I think our best option will be to get a decent Championship level manager whose contract will permit to double as our National team technical advisor. then maybe Amuneke can remain as chief coach. The female team have a technical adviser who coaches a club in the US as well and it's pretty much working for them. The approach saves cost and gives some level of quality too. He can also track our players in Europe better. |

Mujtahida:The bolded was referencing the mood before the return leg. I watched the pre-match press conference before the match in Abuja. Eguavoen was with Simon Moses. You could see the arrogance in the response from them, especially Simon Moses....in contrast, Otto Addo mentioned the probable effect of the away goal and reiterated that Nigeria wasn't levels above Ghana as insinuated by many. The draw in Kumasi dampened the expectations of the Ghanaians before the return leg in Abuja. |

Mujtahida:Those guys eeh...they really let our defenders down.Despite solid cover by our defenders check out shot at goal by our opponents in Afcon and WC play off, very limited but Okoye and Uzoho stlll fumbled. |

Ghana can do this. A win ( South Korea?) and a draw might just be enough for them. |
