This is another player i want back in eagles ASAP.

Ebuehi cannot be worse than Calvin Bssaey even as LB against Ghana......Ebuehi to RB/RWB and versatile Aina to LB/LWB cos Aina is better.than Sanusi,Bassey and Collins.

Ebuehi and Aina as fullbacks will give us real tactical football not all these one way left backs.
He's a talented defender and I'm shocked he's being left put from time to time

Iheanacho should be played as a CF in G.W.G.
No I don't think he will do well in that position, he has a week right foot. He's at best a supporting striker

Iheanacho delivers again cool

Fine header
Reason why I was always advocating for wingers that can cross. Even fullbacks
Our strikers have really suffered honestly.

Iheanacho keeps scoring goals as a Centre Forward for Leicester but some Nigerians are hell bent on making him play another position.

No be him fault say dem no dey give am the kind correct cross wey he dey see for Leicester

The midfield was not working, no be Kelechi fault. Wingers were not winging either

It is not that these boys are bad players. A player that is bad, will not work anywhere you put them, but these boys work somewhere. Na just the system wey no favour them.
Agreed

Osimhen might be our first choice ,but if iheanacho must play he should also play as a striker ,even if he is comming from the bench and start some games also

nope just gyan not muntari, he is a trouble maker. That one. All our of the field incident in brazil started from him.

We have until June to appoint a manager. The Afcon Qualifiers are upon us already. If we must go foreign, I want a sound tactical mind and not another Journeyman edition. If they cannot get us a quality foreigner blessed with sound tactical nous, then they should give the reins to Amunike and even add Ndubuisi Egbo to the mix.

Amuneke cannot and will not be our coach sir. It's a simple fact.

im not sure it will even happen but lets be honest, Gyan's record at the WC is excellent.. He will offer advice to the young players.

Disagree. This Ghanaian team is not better than our current Super Eagles. Man for man in terms of player abilities, profile and potential they are not on our level. Of course that doesn't mean they cannot win a game against us. Football being a low scoring game by nature means outcomes like the one we have just seen will continue to happen especially when head to head games are played in such short time periods.

With all due respect Amartey is rubbish, ask Leicester city fans, their midfield is totally wack, similar to our own without Ndidi and upfront there is little on offer. Kamaldeen and Kudus can play a bit but they will get roasted at the world cup. No malice. Save this post.

I don't agree with you.

Over two legs we struggled to score with our superior strike force and Midfield.

I watched Mohammed Kudus of Ajax turn is inside out.

On the day the Ghanaian Midfield was more inventive than ours , Mohammed Kudus in particular stood out.

It's no use crying over spilled milk, we defeated ourselves we did not prepare strategically and lacked cohesion.

One thing that is baffling Awoniyi didn't get invited but Sadiq did Bundesliga Vs Segunda Division.

Your definition of keeps scoring is warped.

KC has played 20 games and scored three goals in the EPL.

Sadiq didn’t have much chance though ,but he is not better than awoniyi or onuachu he made the squad ahead of

The pain of not qualifying for Qatar is not now.. The moment the preparation start in October /November that's when the gnashing of teeth will start.

We actually doesn't deserve to go to WC 2022 with our shambolic performance.

However, Amunike was in charge of the return leg inAbuja. He trained the boys and made the selection of 433.

Putting 5 debutants on a crucial match is not a wise thing to do...

Amaju Pinnick has failed our football development for years now.. However, rumour has it that he is planning for third term bid.

I just we have a sound coach that will work with the grassroots football.

That will scout and camp the boys on a weekly basis on the tactics and on how to execute matches..

I just hope super eagles get their mojo back

kudus didn’t do anything wonderful in the 2 legs, just flicks and turns nothing special

Partey and the other midfielder that with their rb and lb did marvelously well by stopping eguavoen’s team to effect their attacking style of football

Ghana sat deep waiting for a counter and was lucky enough to get an early goal which made them maintain shape and strategy

Coming from someone who stood by the lame and myopic assertion that you don't change a winning team when Egu beat Egypt. You are now here saying whatever because you are who? Abeg shift. grin

I swear. But we don't have a Barnes in the GWG. Besides nobody trust anything to deliver such dangerous crosses. Simon will stand where Barnes was and be looking like Palomo.

We may have Osimhen, but having Nacho as CF in GWG may just be an advantage than the role he was given behind the striker. His numbers there are not good one bit.

Amunike's impact was clearly seen in the 2013 team. And 2 yrs later we saw him handle the team WITHOUT Manu, and with new talents and we still triumphed.

Manu went solo without Amunike in 2019 and failed.

So EA under Manu is sooo unlike what we saw with him under Eguavoen. Amunike will not pick the same 442/424-like setup we executed in Kumasi with only boring long balls and wingplays as the strategy. That was still Eguavoen. So don't act blind.

And you asked for why Amunike should be in the discussion. I gave you beyond a mouthful. Mentioning he should have beaten Kenya is funny because Tanzania isn't better than Kenya talents wise. Even by Ratings, Kenya clearly trumped Tanzania then (and still trumps now) in the world game.
Both are possibly at par or Tanzania just slightly inferior team-quality wise so it was a 50-50 game or 55-45 game. You cannot use that to write off what Amu achieved with a clearly talentless Tanzanian team.

una don start again, youth team football can never be compared to men’s football

Amuneke should get busy by coaching a local club or getting a job outside of Nigeria to prove his mettle

The nff should go for a German or Dutch coach
