Yes, we all did our Medicals together. They might request for that at the POE when we apply for her SP, not sure though, but just to be on the safe side. Forwardxxx: |

One year isn't one century...it's best to opt for a 2year program to get your three year PSW...I know of so many people that had to relocate back to Nigeria unplanned when Covid 19 came visiting unexpectedly.....Anything worth doing is worth doing well... ShowYoung: |

ShowYoung:Have you applied for jobs in Canada after schooling? My friends and I have done that within and outside the IT/computer science field. I can tell you for sure that most people in Canada spend about 4-6 months of dedicated time before getting a job. Some spend years without it. Getting an interview doesn't equate getting a job. By the way, I work in the IT/Computer Science field in Canada. So I can say I have some practical experience of job hunting in that field in Canada. Did you or any of your friends submit PR application in Canada recently? I do have friends in canada waiting for passport request since early 2021. Their only grace is that their work permit is three years. It is not my business what anyone choose. I am just here to advise those that care to listen that they should aviod 1 year PGD if they can. It will save them future stress, headache, and need for aviodable permutations and calculations. At the end, I understand everyone's journey will be different even if we have the same destination. All the best. |

Getting PR is not always all about getting a job, this is why I asked if you know anything about MPNP, RNIMP and the program that New Brunswick requires you to do and apply for PNP in your final semester which is 6 months before graduation if you are studying in one year course? Are you aware of AINP? People that get problem are the ones who say, "I want to live in Ontario or BC", if you don't care and ready to live in any province or territory to get a PR, I am sure you don't have to tie your PR to jobs. Many PNPs are calling graduates if you care to know. I also weigh in worst case scenario: I asked if you're aware of 1+1 course strategy. Osemigho: |

Bro, if any of your friend had been waiting for PPR for a long time after graduating due to COVID, it is an advantage because that person would have been given a BRIDGING OPEN WORK PERMIT. He would enjoy this open work permit for as long as IRCC keeps delaying him. Even if he had 1 year PGWP, he/she would have been advantaged to work for more than 1 year due to the bridging open work permit. Meanwhile, not all PR programs are tied to job. Most people only know about CEC which requires a year job experience in NOC level A, B or C. There are many PNP waiting to have him. If anyone is in New Brunswick and does a one year course in the select field that's in-demand, such person can qualify for PNP in the last semester of his study, that's five or six months into the program or five to six months before graduating. In as much as you have targeted programs and strategies, you can't fail. There are so many ways one can get PR apart from CEC that doesn't require job offer. One just shouldn't be picky or dull oneself. Osemigho: |
