Unfortunately, if a racially biased stop and search policy was a solution to black on black violence in London, it would have since solved it. This isn't the case. Black on black violence in London and other major cities is mainly due to social deprivation in inner city communities and institutional racism. A child of a single parent living in a 2 bedroom flat in a run down council estate in White city, Hammersmith doesn't think the same way as a child with 2 parents acting as role models living in a 4 bedroom townhouse in Westminter.

There was a time many years ago when Glasgow was the epicentre of white youths stabbing themselves. It wasn't addressed by random stop and searches. It was addressed by investment in the inner city communities where this violence takes place, role modeling etc

Its not, i really don't know why we keep saying this.

It's actually what the data and research into this issue says, not my opinion. A contrary argument might be for people to generalize, without evidence, that black kids are more prone to violence as compared to white kids.

I totally agree with some of your points especially the bold because the best way to solve a problem is to treat it at the root cause

However there more than one way to address a problem and when someone knows they might be stopped and search and if a weapon is found that major trouble, it does deter people from carrying a weapon.

You tell me why Asians are not stabbings themselves at the rate blacks does just about in any city you see concentration of blacks.

Asians does not face institutional racism or deprived of certain privileges?

COREN (statutory) and NSE (defacto society) have their place. As you go through the process, do the same for the UK. Kind of 2-in-1

The statutory is ECUK. You'll need to identify the appropriate engr body. You can't apply to ECUK directly.
Process flow: www.engc.org.uk/professional-registration/
Pocket Guide to Professional Registration for engineers and technicians 2021/22: www.engc.org.uk/professional-registration/pocket-guide-to-professional-registration/

Whilst at it, don't forget Goke7 advice on personal specific.
Andrenalin:
Thanks for this... Before now I was thinking COREN and NSE is not recognised outside Nigeria, so from this piece it will be advisable for me to register with this engineering bodies right...
Thanks expecting your response
semmyk:
...
Inbetween, your membership of COREN and or NSE must should be intact in addition to UK CEng or IEng or EngTech.

Thank you omopapa, I am currently on tier 4, seeking to switch to tier 2. Living on the average at the moment.
omopapa:
Yesit’s possible to adopt a child to bring them to the UK but to adopt someone of that age (15yrs) in your case they will check ur financial status, ur settlement status and standard of living. Do you earn enough to cater for her, do you have extra room for her in ur house, will you be readily available to look after her and not neglect her. These are questions you might want to answer. You will need to proof beyond reasonable doubt it’s not child trafficking.

Check the above post from Tutu82 where she explained that due to human trafficking and falsifying documentation, Nigeria was placed on the adoption restricted list from March 2021. This mean that even if you adopt her now it would not be recognised. The rule might have changed now though.

Zimzee:
Is it possible to adopt a child and bring her to UK?
I have a child that is 15yrs, she started staying with me when she was 3 yrs, she lived with me for 12yrs, everyone that knew me thought she is my daughter. I came to UK last year with my family on a student visa. I couldn't bring her because her mom wanted her back.
Right now the young girl is going through so much depression because we are the family she has known all her life. She couldn't establish a bond with her new home. She keeps running away from home. And I am afraid something might happen to her.The mother is asking me to help but I don't no how to.
Please will it be possible to adopt her and bring her over? Please kindly respond with possible options. Thanks

Major document na bank statements covering 6 months (Evidence of fund available to her)

Reason is visiting daughter and meeting her grand kids for the first time as she would love to celebrate her next birthday with them.

This is lovely. Please, did you also include your own bank statement or was it only hers that was attached?

Every week your Mum is around, give her monies you can afford (tell her to keep it for you).......

Unknown to her, that would be her take away fund .......... wink

Yes, I plan to give her something on weekly or monthly basis. I will ask her inlaw to please also give his own oo. I can’t begin to describe the work of childcare for 2 babies less than 3 yrs of age.

I tried a professional minder, she told me £40 for 2 hours in the evening and £40 for 2 hours in the morning. That is £80 for me to go do one shift! How much will the shift pay me na. My husband kuku say make I no drop his kids anywhere. We will do it by ourselves if it means cutting down on our hours, then so be it
We currently working opposite each other. I work when he is off and he works when I am off.

We are both tired and exhausted as it feels like having no day off since our off days are spent babysitting / little kids.

Ah ah.
We still dey on top this matter?
It's time to close it, abeg una, but to clarify, madam (and for others) PayPal 3 in 1, and Klarna and all the rest of the Buy Now Pay Later schemes (BNPL) are a form of credit being given to you.

The HRGuy was right when he said that when you use 3 in 1 at checkout, you are applying for credit. It's usually a soft search they carry out and its automated, without their having to ask you to fill form or provide info, so many people feel say its different from a standard credit application, but all na the same thing. The FCA is trying to clamp down on these lenders, because they are saying that the affordability checks are not as stringent as for other credit providers, and so on, but make una note say all na credit. You have your item,Curry's has its money and you owe PayPal.

Oya, make una bring another topic o. Wey the person wey wan claim asylum, come forward, please.

Morning Boss, when my beautiful mother gave birth to me, I was a very slippery baby ..........

At that special moment, whilst I was gliding out, a little bit of my head, hit the floor (not all of my head, just the left side)......

$200 cannot be just, if the figure is not readily available....... Unfortunately, I would not be in a position, to render this assistance ............
