In Nigeria, several laws govern the issue of unlawful carnal knowledge (rape) such as the criminal code of he south and penal code of the north and various state legislations. under the criminal code and penal, a woman cannot be said to rape a man. but with the introduction of the Vapp act(violence against persons) a woman can rape a man. the code provides that penetrating any opening of another with any object or any body part is rape. also a woman can be charged with rape under the criminal code too. though it doesn't recognize that a man can be raped, but where the woman enables another to rape a woman, or aids in the unlawful act or procures and counsel another, she can be prosecuted as a principal offender, even without charging the person who perpetrated the act. Hanty, did you fail to see where i quoted the provisions of the vapp act, that posits that penetrating any opening (opening being the operative word) of another by any object or any part of one's body. This is the legal standpoint in nigeria, as long as our legal jurisprudence is concerned. other jurisdictions have their own legislation with i chose not to delve into concerning the issue of rape

Intercourse has to do with Penetration and t does not matter who penetrates who. The issue is, IS THE PENETRATION CONSENSUAL?
