A sensible person thinks through before making careless statements.

It is only a fool who will assume that a full-scale insurgency will be restricted to the South East.

This was how empty-heads we're trifling with the extra-juducual killing of Mohammed Yusuf.

When his followers began to complain, senseless Nigerians like you were busy hailing the Nigeria security agents.

Today what could have been handled amicably spiralled out of control and birthed Boko Haram.

Boko Haram has succeeded in making mockery of Nigeria security architecture.

Now there is the agitation in the South East against flagrant marginalisation, bloodletting, violence and a not-so covert genocidal tendencies...

A responsible system would study the problem with a view to proffer a lasting solution but air heads would dismiss an existential issue with noise-making...

Black people are to be pitied ...

Ask your region to seek, plead, cajole and not coarse others. If Ohanaeze is a sensible body, they are expected to be on a plea bargain tour of the country... But the egocentric nature of you people will not allow you/them do that. Politics is played to gain power and not going faceless threatening or instructing others on what to do & what not to do. Thinking others afraid of you or what...? How can a poor playing team be threatening its opponent not to score goals & the officials not count the goals...? Everyone knows that for fairness sake, the east should be considered. Just that not when you think you are the Don and the power should be brought & submitted to your doorstep on the platers of gold.

You're suffering from a mental deficiency. So the solution is to give your region a free presidency? You people are both lazy and greedy and we, the Yoruba people will remain your headache for life.

Tell Ipob/ESN to extend to South-West, and the whole Igbos would be reduced by 70%.

And the truth remains that no candidate from SE will be on presidential ballot in 2023.

Entitled, greedy and lazy people!

What Ohaneze is saying will not work. Let all candidates test their popularity and acceptability.

I told somebody yesterday that if a president of south east region does not emerge in 2023, thats when Nigeria will see the real agitation.

Then trust me, Politicians will sponsor IPOB
So?
And so what?

Didnt they sponsor them to start Biafra war? If dem head never correct, let them be foolish to start trouble. Nigeria will handle them again.

If they want to break, they must be united themselves and tactically break away. It will take time, but they will achieve it. Personally, I do not believe in one Nigeria again.

And if they break away, they might be actually a very successful nation. SS and SW will ot suffer it. It the north esp Kaduna that will sur the loss. So whatever they want to do, let them speed it up.

These eople again

For God sake are these Ohsnashit and their followers running mad or mad or what?

For God sake promote your own candidate from your regio and stop given why other region should not contest or rot in hell.

2015 and 2019 apc has proven it that SE votes are not necessary needed to win presidential race that is why all current aspirant are not even bothering talking about SE r going there for any consultation I don't know how long it will take my people to know other region politician don't really take them serious because instead to focus on their matter only hatred, name calling, tribalism is all they know doing best.

Ohanashit keep your reason ok make una stay there dey give reasons in less than one year new president go dey Aso Rock.

shocked this sounds more like a threat

..but we all know that a toothless dog can only bark; it will never bite grin
It is a threat, and dem go collect am.

Let them break away tactically and not by war. First, they must be united themselves.

And who says it is ibo turn? Dem dey craze. Na craze dey worry dem head. Are they the only region in the south? Itshekiri is there. Ijaw, ibibio, Tiv and like 200 plus more tribes. Ibos has ruled one time as the democratic president of Nigeria....Ijaw has ruled one time, and Yoruba also ruled one time. What about the rest?

If we want to talk of military rule, who actually decided to turn Nigeria into fire because they want to rule? Is it not ibo.

See...let them try that nonsense Ojukwu did....dem go collect am. I swear. The people who are pushing them will still abandon them like how Ojukwu fled.

If dem head no wan correct say na to compete dem go do, dem if dem born dem papa and mama well....make dem go start war again. Se den head no wan correct ni.

I know them to be stubborn...but that stubbornness must stop in their region. I always tell my friends na. If you think cos you are a first son you can try nonsense outside your ibo land, you go collect am. No one sends you.

Finish.

Bro, just dey look. Let them keep beating chests as usual. Na so dem dey always do before election. After election, dem go cry...and then as soon as the new president comes in, they will start grumbling for Biafra, that dem be from Israel..clowns...They will do that till a year before another election time to start threatening. It is a cycle we are all used to. grin

Like fathers, like children... Believing that they can force everyone into submission... Who does that...? Ohanaeze have all the time now to tour the country, pleading with everyone that matters in today's Nigeria politics, asking for what they want for their region and how/what others too will gain from their emergence to power if they are allowed. That is more diplomatic than this threat of a thing. You once stood by/for "BIAFRA or NOTHING" while some of your wards said "to hell with Presidency" couple with the "zoo" tag to the country...? But here now wanting it all over... Who hands over his or her valuable to someone who talks about it with condemnation...?

First it was Tinubu, now they have added Osinbajo to their politics of hate. It's our people that allowed them sha.. not really their fault.
The se are not really interested in d presidency.
That was why they were supporting Jonathan (from ss) whom they see as their candidate when they should've bn scheming for their political future!

They are not really interested in who becomes president of this country, but on one condition: it doesn't go southwest

Its clear now that its they will support any region but sw.
They don't mind if it goes back to d North, in as much as it doesn't go sw.

But you have no issue with the likes of Amaechi and Wike declaring for President even though they're from the South-South and the immediate Past President, Jonathan is from there too, right?

Ohaneze Ndigbo is the funniest social cultural group in Nigeria. Imagine just calling on some people to drop their well calculated ambition for you to have a smooth ride!
You better go to the street and struggle for your destiny.

Why do these people keep making noise and wasting their time? Even mosquito in the gutter knows that an Igbo man will never get the Presidential ticket on APC(SInce they say Amachi is not Igbo)
The APC candiate is going to be either Osinbajo, Tinubu or Amachi. SE have no strong leg in APC that is just a fact.
It's a diffrent story in PDP. The SE have a strong presence there and have been very loyal to the party. The PDP OWES the SE it's ticket, and it's for the SE to make it very clear to Atiku, Saraki and co, that if they do not get the PDP ticket, they will vote en mass for another party. There is no way PDP can get Aso Rock, without the SE votes

Nobody gives and don't expect political power on the platter of gold. you must go out, declare interest, persuade, convince, cajole, align interests, fight some interest, spend money etc

So my elders, what we should be talking about is decentralization and devaluation of power to other tiers of government, fiscal and true federalism, rule of law, good governance, etc

Ohaeneze should pocket their support because Tinubu is not banking on their support, they should rather make their appeal to the likes of Wike, Atiku, Tambuwa and Saraki of the same party they have rooted their support. They should notice that as Tinubu is going about the country with his consultations he's not probably considering their region as he knows that Igbos will not support him since he comes from Yoruba. Besides the APC is not also counting on the votes from the South East knowing that Igbos never gave them their votes.

is this campaign or what ?

people are busy consulting while you sit in your house typing nonsense .

who's stepping down for who ?

If the failure to produce the next president will increase agitation in the SE so be it..... by the way who cares ?

ighoho tried it and he was placed in his position while Igbos are hailing their Kanu..... so if they like they should burn down SE for failing to produce president.

Electn is a game you must fully prepared for...... no one step down for another or are the ones contesting in the SE handicap ?

they have money and brain but are sitting down while others are moving round the nation but you want people to abandon their ambition just like that .

make una no make person vex this morning ABI which kind nonsense be this self ?

Honestly I put all the blame at the doorstep of our people, some of we Yorubas are just pathetic. We are too liberal and that makes us easy target, I fear for our future especially with the current crop of uniformed youths driven mainly by social media frenzy and propaganda, with inability to take independent position on any issue. The average Yoruba youth is politically unaware, and that portends grave danger for us in the future, just imagine a so-called educated friend of mine saying Peter Obi is not corrupt despite the Pandora scandal and other atrocities linked to him. We can do better honestly.
