Thanks sir..I have done it right now
I just downloaded the gb WhatsApp apk on the website
I tried to install it and it still doing the same thing
It won't install
What again do u suggest

Man I don't know.
Seems the issue is from Android refusing to install the app due to risks or malware and trying to protect your phone.

Just go to Google play store, from there you go to the settings and check on play protect. From play protect you turn it off.

After that try and install the app again.

Mi11 lite 5g ne Redmi note 11 pro will give you very decent cameras even though I feel like you're looking for way more than that in which case you'll have to either up your budget or get a used flagship device
thanks a lot..But these cameras, are they better than that of the mi note 10 lite i am currently using.. Cos that's the reason for the upgrade CC genius43

My Redmi 9 has been stuck in a bootloop mode since yesterday. It just stops at the Redmi logo, switches off and then reboots itself at that point continuously

I did nothing to it beyond just rebooting the phone after it started lagging a little. And it ended up in this state till now. I have tried rebooting from recovery mode to no avail. Even tried to reboot it when charging and otherwise, yet nothing is working. It will just be rebooting itself all the time whenever it shows the "Redmi" logo. It doesn't even get to the "MIUI" logo

Is there any way I can solve this issue without wiping my data and resetting the phone? I have files I'd rather not lose in there, and they are not backed up yet

Phone is Redmi 9, Global ROM. And it has not been unlocked or modified in any way since I bought it two years ago. I don tire for this matter

I need help... Since yesterday night when I turned off MIUI Optimization trying to get better background app performances, Omo few things just change.
It seems app permissions for all apps were reset to default. The main issue is that permissions for Chrome and Opera are worse hit. On nairaland website I can't upload pictures. Shït doesn't work.
WhatsApp or GB version don't show contact names.

Dunno if I did some things wrong or need to change back to optimisation.

I'm using Redmi Note9s with MIUI 12.5 latest version.

Funny enough I didn't feel any change in device performance. undecided cry

That's how it does.. After turning it off you'll have to go to app info and give the app permission one after the other. Its not a miui problem.

In this scenario there is few chances of you not losing your files.

Okay
What do you suggest I do? Wipe all data and the issue will be solved?

Also, any theories as to why this occurred? I used to think it was more common with those who had their bootloader unlocked

A lot of things could have caused it. This is a bootloop but can't say if it is hardware or software related. Try rebooting using Fastboot method.

Oh, thanks
Is it volume up or down that you pressed? You left it to charge till full then restarted it successfully?

Allow the battery to run down, charge and try again. Factory reset will most likely be the way to go since bootloader is locked.
