You are the one who doesn't understand. He's not saying Lags owns the project, but the visions, and qualities the Lagos State leaders put in place automatically attracts foreign investors. Please forget about they have port, they have airport, they have this and that...
If there is no leaders who would manage all of these underlying infrastructure, no foreign investor would come to such state. Leader is like HR and directors in a company, they manages every infrastructure and resources in order to attract additional investments.

Ignorant can't read and comprehend village ipob. Where was it stated that the project belongs to Lagos state?

This is about Lagos state attracting massive over $1Billion FDI in less than one month, not about your ipobian hatred, bitterness and frustration in life.

The only thing your incompetent village governors attract is boreholes, kerosene and wheelbarrow..

If I tell you say I understand what that company is all about, na lie I dey lie.
The company is all about networking computers and storing of datas or information or files on cloud. You and i can connect our computers and phones and also share files locally or any part of the world via internet without the physical router and switch. Everything will be virtual. And you and i can only have access to the cloud platform when we subscribe monthly or annually.
For instance, if you want to store your files or data and protect the files , you and i wouldn't need the physical hard drive and Firewall or antivirus to do that. It's a good development.
I hope you understand it?

How I wish Lagos could invest heavily in its electricity generation, transmission and distribution, you will be amazed how its economy will skyrocket and soar high, the state has the potential to be among the top leading economies in Africa.

It's already among the top leading économies in Africa but yet, you're so correct. A state like that (and other states that want grow) should have stable electricity all over. With electricity, efficient transportation system, Lagos will just be starting. Housing will be the next challenge.

Indeed. It is the best and most attractive destination of FDI in West Africa.

With improved and adequate power supply, Lagos would simply be unassailable in the entire Africa.

Go and check top FDI destinations last year in West Africa, Lagos has dropped, Dakar and Accra are leading destinations for FDI the only saving grace Lagos has is the Fintech boom which is now being threatened following the exposee on the shady deals inside Flutterwave by the CEO.

She's not in any league of her own! She should be competing favourably with Johannesburg, Cairo, Tokyo, New-York and London in terms of Mega-city status if all things are equal. Not forming local champion with sister states who can't boost of a quarter of her population

How did Lagos state government attract the FDI? you are equally dense and deceitful to say that this is the efforts of the goverment, NO it is not.
This is a business decision because the highest concentration of internet based companies and IT firms is in Lagos. Where is the enabling environment did Lagos dash them Land? the answer is No, of course multiple taxations of which Lagos is notorious for will be there so what are you saying. please stop misleading people in this forum.

It has nothing to do with visionary leaders, Lagos boost of large population of 30 million people which the investors see as captive market to capture and spread their services to about 200 million people, which is a huge market. Every country has one or two cities that is considered as commercial cities due to their population and the ability to service other market in the regions.
If you wanna compare how Lagos has fared, rate her among other cities that have attained mega status in their respective countries and see how well her infrastructure compares to their.

At the rate you guys (Igbos) exhibit your bitterness towards Lagos and its leadership eh, I doubt you will be able to appreciate any good thing in life. Sincerely speaking. In spite of your deep-seated envy and jealousy, you still refuse to relocate from the state back to your 'better-managed' homeland. No be JuJu be dat??

When it comes to the unprecedented progress that Lagos has and is still witnessing since '99, you and your ilk are quick to dismiss the contribution of its administrators simply because they're Yoruba and belong to a party that you Igbos hate with a passion. To you, all these would still have happened without the visionary leadership of its administrators. If this had happened in your Anambra home state (which you lot are gradually turning into a war-zone), you wouldn't let us hear word about how electing the current governor was responsible for attracting such an investment. But for Lagos, jealousy and envy kills your ability to be objective. Thank God that Yorubas do not need your validation to move forward in life.

Easterners fleeing their region like rats to relocate to Lagos to hustle yet passionately hating the leadership and the indigenes calling it a no-man-land. Indeed, no wonder the next governor is going to be an anambra man in the end, they will bring their cvs and jostle for livelihood in the same Lagos, yet pray misfortune should fall it’s leadership and people; they will even curse and name the people accommodating them traitors, enemies and jealous: only shows dark and consuming jealousy, no wonder life keeps sending the evil back to their region in many folds.

The solution: stop hating, and start loving and been truly grateful. If you can’t appreciate a man, you can never even appreciate God.

Back to topic: this is indeed a world class. The present existing cloud system is owned by IDM, International data management owned by the Indians in Oba Akaran but too small for even Lagos population alone. This new one with its space and possible infrastructure will be massive

First off!! You aint accommodating nobody. They aren't fleeing the eastern region, they have as much right as you to enjoy the economic benefits of Lagos since it's Nigerian's defacto commercial capital, afterall, they equally pay their taxes to the state and local governments and equally have a stake to demand for accountability as any one of you. I'm definitely sure you are not even a true indigene of eko. So what's your fuss?

They aint stupid not to have put source of power supply into consideration. All over the world, the standard for any tier three (3) data centre is to have it's own captive power source usually as back-up. Data centres are huge servers that needs industrial ACs to coll them and 24/7 Power supply
