If I download IRRC form, fill and validate it, do I print the form out so that I can sign it? Or I must type my name in the sign space on the computer? It's urgent, someone please advise. Thanks.

CharitoJames:

Do you need to explain to anyone why you are taking your own child who is a toddler along with you? It’s Nigerians that complicated things for themselves.. when they keep adding and doing what they weren’t asked to do... All this IRCC issues can’t be heard in other countries. Please Ma, your child is yours so it’s not their business as to why you are taking him or her.... file for the child in question, have enough money to show for the both of you and consent letter from hubby. No one would ask you why you had to take your child.

You have to fill online. The documents are filled online for easy access of your information. Once you submit your application, their system detects these info and distributes accordingly. That's when you order your notes, you cab see many acticlvities happen on same day of submission by showing incoming correspondence for all documents and forms filled.

It depends on the type of form. The instruction is usually there that You should print and sign if Yiu are to print and sign.

However, most require that Yiu fill, validate and out your name in the signature space then validate. You don't have to print and sign.

DestinationCann:
The reason is obvious, your toddler is a toddler who needs mother's care.

Your husband will be busy with work and other kids and you'll not want to overburden him with care of a toddler who still nurses at night.

Hellos,
If she really didn't need to give the Visa Officer any explanation why she is going with her toddler child and not the family, a one liner would have sufficed and you wouldn't have needed to give that logical and well thought out explanation you just opined her.

Please madam, take a cue from this submission and write a proper letter of explanation else the VO can reason that the plan is for you to file for family reunion and you all wouldn't return at the end of your studies.

Statistics supports the above position quite a lot so do make a reasonable argument for your case.

VOs aren't naturally looking for reason to give you Visa. In fact it's quite the opposite they're more or less checking of why you shouldn't, hence the need to give them all required info to allay any doubts and provide clarity.

Best of luck.

I am applying for a family of six, and asides from PoF, I'm not leaving any stone unturned.

200 is a bit too much tho. You can be blacklisted if you don't know. Be strategic in your approach. The staffs in charge of triaging your query or enquiry aren't the ones making decisions on your application. I know someone that has been sending mails for 3 months nothing till now. If you think 200 redundant Mails will expedite your processing you're wrong.

Even MPs can't expedite your application(The always make this clear in their responses. They only situation they could is if the application is way past processing times) If you're past 6 months maybe sending mails to the MP is the way to go.

You have to be strategic. what do I mean send your enquires at times when the officers can see it. Considering their time zones. Be more emotional in your enquiry. Sending 3 times every day in a week is enough(at 8am, 9am and 10am Nairobi time). And not copy and paste change the content of your enquiry. If the officer is ready to release your decision he/she will.

You can also call Nairobi, the number below:
(254-20) 366 3900. Hours of operation is 7:30am - 4:00pm GMT +3

You can also mail Abuja and Lagos. These are assisting offices wouldn't have bulk queries like Nairobi. These officers could assist. Triaging your request for expedition.

Lastly, order your notes. As I said and bolded previously if an officer is ready to release his/her decisions they will. If you get your notes you might find out a decision has been made and you're approval bound but for certain reasons. The officer hasn't sent the correspondence.

Goodluck

I don't understand where this is coming from;
- I didn't say I was sending 200.
- I never said I have not ordered my notes, I mentioned someone that has sent 200 overall(him being strategic about It or not, I don't know), and - I never mentioned I am not mailing Abuja or Lagos at a strategic time with different subjects and contents. Saying I am sending a number of emails is just like a joke of "no peace", but it doesn't mean that's the amount I am sending.
I don't like the way you assumed things about what I'm doing, know or don't know. I have done my own homework. Thanks.

Hello Lezy,

You don't need to sign the IMM 1294e form given the online submission system. Use your full name as shown in your travel document or passport in place of the signature.

Hello gurus,

Please what family tie should I explain in my SOP. My elder brother is my sponsor. Though my dad has business but not registered. Am thinking if I should register it and say I will return to take over his business or what other family tie examples should I use.. I don't have landed property.

Hi everyone, please I call on experienced people to help on this;

What explanation can I give for taking my 20months old toddler with me on a study permit while writing my SOP?

NOTE- I'm leaving my husband and two older children back home.

Thank you

Hello Ayatunde,

You can consider these points:

• An infant child that needs the cradle of the mother;

• Attached mother-child bond;

• The difficulty experienced during the pregnancy period, labour, birth (if it was high risk, state it), etc.;

• Being with your infant child will help your focus on your studies;

• The care of the infant child under the watch of others can't be the same as yours—the mother;

• The father is inexperienced and you can't leave the child behind for your mother or spouse's as you wish to breastfeed (your child for a long while) due to professional recommendation;

n.b. Don't mention your spouse is very busy if there is no nanny or parents' around to watch over your other children left behind, and;

• The child is attached to your presence.

P.S. Know that you have to demonstrate sufficient funds and the provisions to be made in Canada to secure a daycare or nanny to care for the child while you study to avoid distractions. If possible, ensure you explain your reasons for traveling with your child in 2 – 3 sentences to avoid providing unnecessary information.

Best of Luck

Hello Tonnymexx,

It will be a good idea to demonstrate your ties using socio-economic viewpoints like family, employment, inheritance, business establishment, future employment offer, membership in social (economic) organizations, etc.

It is not a bad idea to register your father's business and include yourself as the principal shareholder of the business. A newly registered business does not in any way harm your application if it is used to demonstrate your home tie. It will do more good than harm.

For Biometric
- Biometric Instruction Letter
- Appointment letter
- Your International Passport
- 2 Coloured Copies of your International Passport Data Page
Print these documents before going to the Center to avoid printing at ridiculous prices.
Go with your NoseMask.

For Medical
Go with evidence of booked appointment.
Requirement:
You are required to bring along with you your international passports, the hardcopy proof of your payment, Covid vaccination certificate, and a medical referral from IRCC if available.

All the best
The biometric instruction letter, must it be printed colored?

Hello DestinationCann,

In contribution, not an attack!

There is nothing wrong with her explaining to the VO why she is traveling with her infant child. A strict VO may misinterpret the situation as an immigration intent, and why she is intending to study at this particular time when there is a child to nurture or why the study can't be done in her country, where she will get enough assistance. If I can lay my hands on a particular GCMS notes that states the same concern, I will upload it here to justify why she should.

I instead told her to give reasons like caring for the Toddler as the mother.

Hello Everyone,

I am a silent reader of the thread and I would like to ask a few questions I am not clear on.

This is my situation.

My mom is a trader in Eko Idumota market and has only CAC registration of the business.
My aunty(mums sister) is a nurse in the US and can act as my co-sponsor and she is currently my sister's guardian in the US.
My dad is a developer and has a block of flats in just his name and currently developing another block of flats on a 25year agreement. (I would prefer not to involve my dad because he is not really in support)

Over one year, my aunty has sent about 60,000USD to my mum for my school purpose. Part of the money was used to buy land for my aunty when my admission did not come through while My mum withdrew the remaining 30k from her dorm account and gave to my dad to fund his building project.

My initial plan was to use my mum as my main sponsor, but if the dorm account is presented, the only source of credit to that account is my aunty. So I think that would raise questions.

Now my mum has 8k USD balance in her dorm and about 1.5million closing balance and no landed properties. The account has very good inflow and outflow especially because she changes the USD and puts into her account for disbursement.
Our plan
-is to build the account with 1.5million every month to have about 6million closing balance by September when I want to apply for my study permit. (this would be exclusive of paid tuition and living expenses) Would this be enough to show as POF/balance after taking care of tuition and living expenses OR do I still need to show 10million/30,000CAD minimum balance?

- Pay my full year tuition fees from the 8k USD dorm balance and additional money from my dad OR pay my full year tuition fees through my Aunty. Does the VO need to see the account statement from where I paid my tuition fees?

- For my 25th birthday, my aunty gives me a "gift" of 10,000CAD to support my plans to further my studies. This would be a gift deed. Is this suspicious or too much to give the first granddaughter of the family as "birthday gift"?

Lastly, what documents would I need to show for my Sponsor who is a business woman and is not properly documented?

I really look forward to the responses.
