raumdeuter: They already have enough permits to drill on non-federal land, which is a mere 10% of land drilled, but aren't drilling. Hopefully, you'd investigate why they aren't. https://www.verifythis.com/article/news/verify/national-verify/oil-permits-9000-unused-fact-check/536-2a657e09-856b-436c-a55d-df1cdf2acb3f |

Ibime:You need to understand that oil producers are in it for the money and not for the supply. There's currently excess oil production worldwide, and a contraction in demand. Producing more will only depress prices and reduce profits. Besides, no one want to invest in rigs that Saudi's will drown or that may drown in an Iran deal or climate change. And this is all when labour is short and metal is very expensive! You wouldn't invest your money in oil rigs just as no one else is willing to. Oil companies themselves are going green because that's where the profit is to be made. https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/02/energy/us-oil-production/index.html 1 Like |

budaatum: I know they are in it for the money. When oil price falls below a certain threshold, certain rigs become unprofitable and get sealed. That is capitalism, and no reason to shutter the Keystone pipeline whose investors deemed it profitable. Keystone volume would not ease oil price, but more important is the message given out to oil prospectors, rather than the Mathematics of supply. And mathematics won't help Biden when asked to explain why he shut down Keystone (on his first day) while waiving sanctions on Nordstream 2. It's a miscalculation on energy security, same as Merkel did in Germany. 1 Like |

Ibime: Lol, where is the race baiting from him? he is mocking the washinton post oga, Racism did it because America's roads are racist. They're killing Black people. As the Washington Post put it, the Transportation Department "concluded that Black communities tend to be crisscrossed by more dangerous roads." Now, that made sense to the Washington Post and you can see why. Civil engineers, road builders, bent on genocide would, needless to say, put all the dangerous roads in Black neighborhoods. That's who they are and that kind of thing happens all the time in America. This is a racist country; Joe Biden has told us that countless times. |

Jewish Laser Marge Green was asked if she discussed martial law with Criminal trump, and guess what.. she declared executive privilege not to talk about it but it was overruled Why do we have these illiterates in government? First Criminal trump is Ex-president, a former disgusting criminal president so no executive privi and secondly she's not and has never been part of the executive Branch. And this is the idiot criminal trump supporters will be reposting her putrid words like they are facts, the insurrectionist doesn't even know the facts about Basic Government. 2 Likes |

raumdeuter: This is bullshit.. Not only Covid, which he bungled and knowingly allowed to spread, but Criminal trump was a corrupt and criminal mastermind. He lost due to gross incompetence, and he felt he was above the law. The nepotism he brought in to his criminal admin was repulsive to Americans, and imagine his cabinet that was the most corrupt ever.. He turned the office to his business enterprise and that was so repulsive to Americans. He supported white supremacists and gave support to racists and bigots which was very clear and that was disgusting to all of us. Please go and sit down somewhere deep, Criminal trump was a DISASTER. 2 Likes |

Ibime: now you are jumping like a headless chicken. you simply don't understand what he is saying. lol he continues As Russ Martin of the Governors Highway Safety Association put it, Floyd's death "accelerated national discussion about equity in transportation" and that discussion would include "questions about enforcement." Oh, there it is, right there. That's the answer. Cops across the country were told to stop enforcing traffic laws against Black drivers. No one wanted to be accused of arresting somebody for the crime of "driving while Black." So, in the name of equity, the law no longer applied to huge numbers of people. Result? Thousands of Americans died. |

benalvino3: You are the one jumping like a headless chicken He duplicitously tried to join two seperate arguments to racebait. There is a seperate discussion about highways seperating black neighbourhoods from white which is a legacy of town planning from the 1930s. Nobody claimed that was the reason for increase of traffic deaths as he duplicitously tried to frame the argument. If he wants to claim that less police stops in the wake of George Floyd led to more traffic deaths, he is free to do so without being duplicitous. Trying to tie in the "roads are racist" angle is him mischievously trying to trigger his audience that these people have come again demanding heaven and earth, and trying to trivialise the town planning issues of the 1930s, and distract his audience with the narrative that blacks are the ones killing themselves on the road by rejecting police supervision. Now I don't care either way about historic town planning because I can do for self and move anywhere I want if I don't like a neighborhood, but one should be smart enough to know when opinion formers are being mischievous. But if someone should bring the same argument to apartheid South Africa, would you deny that there is historic racism in the town planning of South African cities? And also tell me what system of Government was in place in America in the 1930s? So why would I trivialise South Africans in Soweto for example complaining about town planning that is legacy of apartheid era, and try to distract from that matter by bringing up another unrelated matter (lack of Police stops), then use the lack of Police stops angle to rubbish their town planning concerns. 2 Likes |
