Teaching hospital road.....

My recent detour to Obohia yesterday left me surprised as i didn't know it has started being tarred. I took some pictures though.....

Though, it hasn't been finished neither has the final asphalting been done

Those of us castigating and using pre colonial pictures of Ngwa road will do well to remember that Ngwa road has been rehabilitated. They should do well to find old pictures of another road and relax why i go hunt for the new pictures.

Most people online have an unfair negative perception of Abia and mostly Aba.

The truth is that the government of Abia is still performing poorly and you can never change that. I am from Abia bro.
The best way to judge a government is from words of the masses. Many of what you posted up are privately owned establishments.
I mean who posts people's hotels, hospitals, and clubs to prove government is working?

Go to Owerri, Enugu, Anambra and every other state you will find these things in quantum yet the government don't even brag with it.

Don't tell me that A good private University is being built in Abịa, tell me that the government has upgraded Absu to provide quality but affordable education in Abia.

Don't tell me a church has built a good hospital that the poor may not afford, tell me that government has upgraded or build a standard hospital for affordable health care.

You can never take away the shame of Okezie Ikpeazụ and the other leaders in Abia.

Before 2015, Aba had zero radio station today there are 5 or more in the city

we had no mall in Aba before 2015 ,today we have two and more are under construction.

before 2015 Aba had zero cinema today we have one in the city

before 2015 Aba had zero eateries ,today we have multiple brands with multiple outlets.

before 2015 Abia never came top 10 in attracting FDI ,since then we have made the list thrice.

the night club I posted which is a three storey edifice by the way, the huge private hospital , Shells new gas facility at gas line, the new multinational companies springing up at osisioma ,etc

all these goes to show that something positive is happening in the city.Nobody will cite such humongous investment in a city with zero infrastructure, the infrastructure of Aba and Abia state at large is vastly improved, the pictures are there for all to see.

Once Abia people get rid of the PDP govt aristocracy holding the state hostage, you would be shocked at the speed of development and transformation Aba will have. It’s Igbo lands best answer for a mini Lagos and is being held down by the people in Govt in Umuahia
