I don’t want to mention the name, but residents of the area and past tenants of the house already know where I’m talking about.

Most of the apartments in the house are either mini flats or self contains. Tenants in that house barely live through their rents.

None of my friends did!

That was the first house I’ll see a room and parlour self contain without ventilation, the only ventilation was through the door.

Currently, as I am writing this the ground floor my friend stayed for 9months before moving out is sinking gradually.

Landlord is an ex convict. Man was part of the drugs dealer clean out obasanjo did. Has strong foot in Lagos Island, so he is well placed for violence. He's also very unreasonable. So you know who you're dealing with.

@Pweetylivia: One day in this house, I slept off with my “office laptop” on the floor. Then I woke up around 3am to see my room flooded with my laptop swimming in a pool of salt water. Apparently,opened tap water from someone’s bathroom upstairs entered my room. That laptop “packed up”.

I don't see what some landlords derive in terrorizing their tenants. Eventually, they will be found out and people will avoid their property. Nothing so hard in living peacefully and giving people peace. If you look carefully those wicked landlord na people wey no ever believe say them fit achieve anything for life.

They should threaten him back too with violence or bigger connections na. They should treat his fork up. Or ex-tenants who have mouth or know people that has, should charge him to court. Maybe for human rights abuse or something, anything. I don't believe anyone is untouchable at all o. Absolutely no one is. (Even emperors or presidents with the tightest securities CAN be gotten. Just a rebellion seed in an aide's mind) and then slip a poison in his food or plan an ambush. There are just levels of power. I don't see a person being completely powerless, still persons being helpless.

Normally too, people should have badmouthed him so until tenants start reducing and finally not a single person will come to rent from him. I hope this tweet too helps with that.

His house is rated poorly on Google Map, but I doubt it occurs to them to check it out. I guess desperation follow for the matter too.

This one pass Lagos matter o. My heart just dey beat fast as I was reading comments. This is tyranny. On top person money? I wonder what is the catch because I would instantly be turned off by a house with numerous flats like say na barracks or a university off-campus lodge.

This country is a literal jungle and you have to learn to pick your battles.

Most of these people are high level political thugs who provide critical support during elections. So they are basically allowed to do whatever

Some are people who have ties or favors to senior politicians

And this is Nigeria where every official or his superior can be bought.

Look at the Ikoyi building collapse. There was a highly publicised arrest and shutdown of the site. Yet after all the dust settled construction continued without approvals.

This is really the best that can be done. Alert people so no one with sense goes there. He can turn the building to short time for agberos.
