Divorce in the hausa community has nothing to do with the wife (most times). As you know the muslim religion give men the right to marry as much as four wives. Most times their men come up with flimsy excuses to divorce the wife in other to bring in a new bride. I've witnessed more than 5 cases of such.

Also they (Hausa ladies) do cheat or flirt around but codedly. They don't do it openly or make it look normal, like some our ladies do.
The bolded has only stated a difference between ladies who are codedly promiscuous and ladies who openly promiscuous. What that means is that the decency in the North amids Hausa ladies is APPARENT.

Divorce in the Hausa community has alot of factors. Flimsy excuses by husbands too is one of them yet it doesn't exonerate the Hausa wives from being major players in the high rate of divorce in the Hausa community.

grin The bolded is very true.

My assumption is that you are a Muslim based on your choice of moniker. I wish you happy Ramadhan. Now, in all honesty why is lesbianism very common among Hausa ladies? I must tell you I have two friends who divorced their wives because of this with concrete evidence. Those were first hand experience while the numerous other lesbianism stories are not directly related to me but News from people.

Lesbianism is called Madugo in Hausa.
First and famous I'm a Christian.
And I can't say I know anything about why they engage in such act honestly

Even gayism is an act very common among Hausa men too. It is called luwadi. I also know a woman who presented her case to the Sharia Court against her husband who persistently try to have anal sex with her.

Yes I know it is common especially among their politicians
But how you come to know about the names is what I don't understand?

[s]Well we all know that these women unlike many other tribes don't cheat. The reason for this is mostly because of their upbringing and religious inclination. By nature they are so shy as well and hardly wanna expose their nudity except to their husband, even at that many only practice intimacy with their husband in the darkness of the night. Their shyness is really out of the world. They are also very obedient and submissive and will hardly ever disobey their parents, husband and imams [/s]
You don't know what you are saying. Abi na their head tie and hijab dey deceive you?.

I won't call it promiscuity (being indiscriminate with their choice of sexual partners) because they are selective when it comes to cheating/choice of partners and time.

Cheating is common with every tribe (no tribe is an exception), so also is chastity .

The point here is...though they (Hausa ladies) cheat, they try to maintain some decorum and doesn't flaunt it around like its normal (even though cheating is cheating n am not justifying their act).

The bolded is true and I can't argue with that fact. My point was; the Hausa men are mostly the reason for their divorce. It still doesn't mean their ladies ain't guilty too.

Classyuniquebae:
So I want to understand, does cheating codedly mean that you are modest ? What is the difference between cheating secretly and doing it without being a hypocrite ?

Would you not prefer to know that someone is a ritualist and give them their way than mixing up with a pastor who is a coded ritualist ?

You see the problem ?
Modified: Read through my second post and see the point I was trying to make.

I like the way you have put your observations in words. I share the same perception. It's true, Hausa ladies don't mount just any Tom Dick and Harry. They are very selective and coded.

Yes we know Hausa women may have more chastity than other tribes but it a BIG lie to say only Hausa women are chaste. Chastity is more along religious lines than tribes as more Muslims south are far more chaste than Christian north.

Northern Christian girls dey share body wotowoto.

Have you ever heard of "Ka ci naman in ci abincin"
What does that mean pls say it in English sir

ahahahaahhahaha !!! I have never seen a tribe that practice immortality than this Hausa maybe in the future Imay come across worst people but for now northern people I salue you...the rate of divorcees in the north should be highest in Nigeria, and tell me what's causing of the marriage crashing? Immorality.

Want you're trying to say is the hijab covers the pregnancy.
Which hijab will cover pregnancy in this world?

Its very difficult for them to get pregnant in their fathers house.
Most of third single mothers are divorcées not giving birth to a child out of wedlock

I'm talking about Hausa's in the north not some kind of Muslims in the west

The problem with muslims generally is hypocrisy. They always like to hide behind one finger. E.g Abba Kyari.

Lived formative years of my life upnorth and that's where I draw substantial claims.

Chances of an average Hausa teenager, lady or woman getting knocked up out of wedlock are slim, but it happens. And still happening

The life of a girl child upnorth is heavily regimented, and hey! The levels of restrictions are top notch.

The parents or guardians of these ladies in most cases beautifully succedes in delivering chaste packages to the men that would take them into their homes as wives.

But there's a catch here...

In the midst of these obedient ladies are rebellious ones who wants their itchy parts scratched...

With that in mind, pregnancy results from these select few. These are people who don't mind covertly dating Christian guys, and collecting the D on a low, just to feel the thrills.

They get high... They smoke... They club and party hard.

You Know all those vices their parents adviced, instructed and clearly mapped out to them not to indulge in? They're now waist deep into these stuffs mostly outside their homes. And when they're back in the family, they paint saintly figures of themselves for their folks to see.

Crazy things are happening.

Hausa gals ain't exempted. They Bleep too and get pregnant out of wedlock. And that's where Hijab comes in. They either cover it up and get married with alacrity if the chief owner is of same Faith or abort when it's a different ball game.

Pheww! Did I write all these notes just to buttress what is known upnorth? Yeah. I did grin grin angry
