Eyes on the Golden Boot.... With 18 League goals this season, it's good to say that Maclean's Chinonyerem deserves a spot in the Superfalcon Provisional List for the AWCON Tournament in July...

Deltamani:I thought it was South Africa that was seeded earlier. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 6:50pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
GeneralDae:Cameroon is ahead of South Africa in the FIFA Ranking, how do you seed South Africa ahead of Cameroon?? Is it because they Finnished 2nd in the Last Edition?? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 6:54pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
JohnBullMySon:Yeah, hopefully she would be ready enough to fight for a spot for the AWCON, GoodNews is that her Club Captain who plays right back and also center Back just signed for VFL Wolfsburg, hopefully as from next season she would hold on to a spot in the starting 11.. Again they're Champion League hopefull... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by PDPGuy: 8:13pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
Deltamani:The SF should just deploy a 3-4-3 or 3-3-4 formation in the group stages because they would be facing confirmed minnows in the group stage. No need for 2 DMs starting any of those matches |

I don't think the level she's playing right is good enough Schemerkhiz: |

isan:I can see you're one of those underrating the Polish Women Football League, a lot of investment have been made of recent years, all game's are streamed live on YouTube just take your time to watch a few if you can before writing the league off.. Which level isn't good enough to make a provisional list in preparation for a major tournament?? But a Player Playing in the Belarusian league, Israel and co league that isn't even up to the level of the Polish league can make the provisional list.... What are you saying?? A list of 30 to 35 players?? |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 10:55pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
With her Currently form there's no way you would name 10 forwards for the Superfalcons that Maclean's Chinonyerem name won't be there.. Oparanozie Oshoala Ordega Onumonu Kanu Okoronkwo Maclean's Ikechukwu M_ Gift Imo |

Schemerkhiz:The same way u feel the U20 girls shouldn't make it even though they play in the Nigerian top flight. |

BascoVanVeli:There's no way those U20 girls will be compared to Maclean's here... |

I have a friend called Chinonyerem who uses McClean… |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 11:10pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Take Regina Otu as a case study here, She plays for one of the best Club in Belarus but because the league is very weak now doesn't necessarily mean she isn't getting the right training and development environment there. All she needs now is a better and tougher Competition.. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 11:11pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
PDPGuy:Oh really... |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:33pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:I am not comparing them to anybody. U asked which level isn't good enough for the provisional list and I gave u the players u yourself said shouldn't be on the list. |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 11:41pm On Apr 26, 2022 |
Schemerkhiz:If the league is weak how can u prove she is getting the right training and development environment? If Belarus offers a good development environment, shouldn't the league be good That just doesn't make sense |
| Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 1:15am On Apr 27, 2022 |
BascoVanVeli:Which you would understand my point here meaning the Club have the needed environment like training facilities and the rest.. |

Comment Coming from a Ghanian Women Football League Coach.. The game is not nice at all. Both sides were just ballooning the balls and use of physicality where there was no need rather than putting the ball on the turf and passing in movement. We as Coaches of the Women's teams have work to do at the training grounds with our gals. Their technique level is low and tactically, it looks like most of them do not know when and where to move with or without the ball. |
