Nigerian companies love degrees. Its a primary factor

North American companies love what comes out of your mouth.

Europe also believes in degrees.

UAE primarily want to see ultimate conviction that you know the job.

I got my first career job with just National Diploma (ND)

I applied through job agent, I was called for the written interview and I wrote the test with another 25 job seekers, I passed the test with 72% which was the highest anybody had got since the establishment of the company in 1992.

I was called for Oral interview and we were asked to come with our credentials I performed better too until the interviewers checked my credentials and find out I had Ordinary Diploma, the HRO just send me away that I deceived her to allow me to write the test and I didn't open up before I attend the interview too. I went home but I was happy cos I performed better than expected, week later the MD of the company personally called me to resume work the next day.

Since they have been inviting you for interviews then, there's no need to worry. Perhaps, your experience fits their desires.

yes you do stand a chance...Don't relent; you will be offered the job if you do better than other first class candidates or candidates with higher grades, that's if your recruiters are intelligent to know that hiring someone shouldn't be based on only grades. Speaking from experience.....

It seems to me as if you applied for a position you are not qualified for. Similar to a technician or technologist applying for the post of an engineer.

If that is the case, you may not pick the job as your basic qualifications would be inadequate.
