Blame the desperate rental guys bro. They are the ones picking the low fares and driving the prices down further. Rental guys can take such hopeless fares because the don't do maintenance, in fact they love using the car to carry fücked-up loads (shebi Lugard dey find 30k per week, na the car go suffer am grin

ICM to 1004 is now 2,200, it was 3,200 in December. And you go still pay N200 parking inside your 2,200

And what can the driver do about that? Go back to where you dropped them and beat them up?

Indriver to me would have been the best app to work with had they up their price to compete with others.

How on earth would an app allow rider to offer 2500 from Ajah to Alakuko? How Yes it's on to the driver to accept or reject but is it supposed to be allowed.

I dont blame them shall, rather I blame the government-Nigeria who allow them operate in their air space without any form of licence whatsoever. If they re asked to pay 20m for operation license no one will tell them to up their prices so that they can increase revenue for themselves

We are talking about transperancy and nothing more, but it seems the price is beating you down. On Indriver you can maintain your rating easily with less or no ado.

And about pricing, what you should ask yourself is how much do I want to be making weekly? Bolt goes off and on with surge, but one thing you guys fail to understand Indriver is far better compare to Bolt without surge and if you know how to drive again't traffic, then it is perfect. You have to do 20k on Bolt to net 10k, but 14 to 14.5k is ok to net that same 10k.

Yea! Riders may tend to twist price on Indriver, but which human in his or her right sense will pick Ajah to Alakuko for 2500? If you have followed my last write up, you would have seen Surulere and Yaba more and I don't go below 2400 to 2800. Even did Lere to Ikeja 2400 under 25 mins yesterday. We don do both Uber and Bolt before, those trips no deh pass 1200. I still remember doing Berger to Lekki phase 1 on Bolt for 1800, I try to make these people see it was app glitch. Nothing concern them, I drove down back home from island with vex. I remember on Uber and Bolt, Lere to Mariner is 1k and VI is 1.7k... We did all these when it wasn't beneficial, waiting for surge days or bonus to compliment. So let everyone do what works for them. You can't force me to be online when I don't want too or go to where I don't want to be all because I am chasing bonus. I know how many time they scratch my bumper in the name of chasing bonus. Today will no deh use map drive again, just update best route, fire down.

Not loyal to any app, if I find some peace in anyone again, I switch.

Everybody here knows the guy likes to argue grin but we go dey manage am like that.

Even Honda specified 5w30 for most of their vehicle engines produced during 2003-2010 at their time of manufacture but later revised it to 5w20 as early as 2011 self.

Are you now implying that those using Honda 2005 should stop using recommended 5w30 and start using 5W20 because Honda produce engines that now use 5W20 from 2011.

Na wa ooooo

Na wa ooooo

On the engine oil cover for your 2005 Honda 5w30 might have been written on it from the factory and in its manual but today that same engine in your vehicle is supposed to be using 5w20.

What I’m implying is that all Honda Accord vehicle engines from 2003-2011 now use 5w20 engine oil spec.

no be me talk am oh, na Honda dem cool

But personally if you’ve been using your 5w30 then you have no reason to change.

Maybe for Honda. But for Toyota cars it's pretty straight forward. Use the oil type engraved on the gear dipstick. Regardless of year of manufacture.

The parking pin itself is relatively cheap, I’d say cheaper than any other sensor or mechanical item found in your gearbox. It sits in between the gears themselves so forget about repairing it by yourself.

The main koko is paying the workmanship fee for bringing the gearbox down, opening it up and replacing the pin itself before reinstalling everything back, not forgetting your transmission fluid which should be replaced too.

See, in the future try to be using your handbrake whenever you park your car and shut the engine off while putting it on Parking gear even if you’re in a filling station and refueling. Transmission park pins are not too sturdy and can actually break (like yours must have done) when someone or something applies little force against your vehicle either forwards or backwards while it’s in Park.

In the meantime keep using your handbrake while you save up for the fix. This predicament will teach you the valuable use of that your handbrake lever by fire by force and the longer you wait before the fix the better the habit of using your handbrake will be instilled in your psyche.

You will be a better, wiser and safer driver for it grin

How come no one knows you're a mechanic all these while
grin

Good evening great minds,
Please oooo I don enter trouble like this and your insight might save me a great deal, I registered with Uber and uploaded a fake driver's license cos my license was still under processing, and my account was blocked, now I have collected the new license, uploaded it and it was approved but yet the account was not active, all am seeing is visit Uber support team, when I visited there office at Maryland they said I can't do Uber again, please is there way out of this, I don't know what to do ,the owner of the car insist it must be Uber ,
Please help me out

You shoot yourself in the foot.

Why is the owner insisting it must be uber? Can doing only uber make you realise money for his rent and for yourself?

This is a case two ignoramus in a business they know nothing about.
You and your partner are ignorant of what it entails to run the ehailing business.

Since yiur partner insist it must be uber then drop his car and look for another then get a bolt and indriver account with your license.

Lastly, next time don't do anything illegal to make money, success is patient and patient is a virtue.

Your everlasting ban on uber is the consequence you'll have to face for tue wrong decision you took.

Rider: I’m coming out now.

3mins later

Rider: please I’m coming.

5mins later about to enter paid waiting:

Rider: Sorry I’m coming out now.

Then immediately I vex cancel, the rider starts calling nonstop till I block their number.

@felicity0001, as a registered hoodlum member biko what would you do in such situation? I personally hate time wasting.

I don't call instead I allow rider to call b4 moving to pu that way i know rider is serious and ready ti move. If rider don't call 2min after I've accepted I arrive and in most cases they always call to inquire of my whereabouts.

In your own case, after cancelling I move forward a bit then wait for another request if she eventually comes out to me I open the door and they step in... Na rest na 0% commissiongrin

This work na sense... Just be calming down.
