Please what course did you apply for and when did you get admission?
oppemipo:
Hello gurus,

I have secured a fully funded program at the USASK, 38,000CAD for the duration of 2yrs. My tuition fee is 8,095 CAD/yr, I also have 3.7m (about 11,000 CAD) in my Savings account for my wife and daughter living and additional expenses in Canada.
I have started my visa application but I wish to include my wife and 11 months old daughter. Can this fly, if I explain why I want my wife to follow me, our baby needs both parents at this stage of her life and leaving her and the mother could infringe on her right of access to parental care.

Please I need support on how I can package my application as I don't want to lose this opportunity. Thank you as you contribute.

Thanks for the prompt response.

Lekiboboe:

Hi,

Due to your Site supervision and management 10 years work experience, there is no academic nor career progression going for a Chemistry related program. A Visa Officer will/might likely see this as a red flag in your Visa Application. A Visa Officer will expect you to go for a Program related to your work experience.

It's better for you to go for a PG.CERT program related to your Site Supervision and Management work experience, that shows a career progression

PG. Cert in
- Construction Management
- Project Management
- Construction Project Management
are good options for you

Since you will be going for a Program not related to your degree, but related to your work experience, go through the contents in the link below

Good day everyone,

As at last week I got an admission from centennial college, of which I was required to make a deposit of 2650 dollars.
It's been a week since I paid the deposit, but up till now I haven't gotten my acceptance letter.
The last time I heard from them was when I was sent a confirmation message with a receipt that my payment has been confirmed.
I already mailed them multiple times but didn't get any reply, please what can I do.

The letter of acceptance usually comes together with the admission letter. Check your email for an attachment . There should be an attachment in the mail sent to you confirming your admission into the college.

They can only confirm the transactions and balance on the bank statement; they don't go beyond the duration you sent them. However, sometimes IRCC asks for updated POF, but this is rare.
Thanks for response

If you have a emergency, use it. The embassy will only verify the period that is on the statement. They will never ask the bank to give them an updated account balance without your consent.
Thank you very much
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Teezkid: 8:25pm On May 02, 2022
Hello. If I am to ask, you mean that someone can submit their 4-6 months bank statements and after submitting it to IRCC, they can still use the money after maybe the 7th month and IRCC won’t know ? I’m just clarifying shocked

Good evening house,

Please i need help.

My wife has a Bsc and graduated with a 3rd class. She also has a masters and graduated with a Phd grade. Can she apply for another Masters in Canada or a Graduate Certificate? Does the graduate certificate have to be in a college or university?

I will appreciate your response please.

Thank you for the response. I guess it doesn't apply to an enterprise right? I registered my business myself, it's an enterprise. I only got the certificate, so I was confused when I heard of Memorandum and Articles of Association on this thread.

Enterprise only has Form of Application of business name which has your details as the director . You don't need Memart for Enterprise. Its only for LTD.

Apply for January 2023, and ask them to transfer your deposit to the new date.

Yes but the program is only available for fall session. It was my mistake. I want to know if I can change course and still transfer my deposit to the new course.

and has anyone applied to centennial college jan 2023
I applied but they apply through email which I find weird. I also applied to conestoga but through portal and I got admission really quick. I’m still waiting for centennial tho

What the name of the course. IT IS IMPORTANT YOU GO FOR COURSES THAT ARE DEFERRABLE.
Although, Conestoga has changed their deferment policy. You must pay at least the first year tuition befre you can defer.

you can submit your visa application and apply for a new admission in the same course in the same school for January 2023.

I didn’t do enough research on that part and unfortunately the course is not deferrable. I just want to know if my deposit will still be there if I change course

I will appreciate your response please.

I will advise she goes for an advanced diploma as her bsc won't meet the admission requirements for a PGD.

If you go for a masters, she will not meet the admission requirements with amthe 3rd class. If she goes for a PHD, you will be required to submit your bsc and masters certificates, the bsc might also reduce her chances.

If you proceed with the advanced diploma, DO NOT MENTION SHE HAS A PHD OR MASTERS IN YOUR SOP OR INCLUDE ANY DOCUMENTATION THAT POINTS TO THAT.

She will be denied based on purpose of visit.

Please guys, I need some input on this from anyone who might have experienced same thing

I worked for my uncle's private company between 2016 - 2018 and there was no official letter issued. Will a reference letter from the company suffice to proof that I worked with them? Just the reference letter No payslip or job offer letter and it's been over 4 years I left there.

Please Anon123, Makano, Ketima, Justmellow, Lekiboboe, Teemenzo and others

You are expected to attach evidence of your present work situation(employment letter, paysips and/or letter of introduction). You can include the reference letter at your uncles place.

Yes... The embassy only calls your bank to confirm transactions within the period on your bank statement. They can't call the bank to confirm updated balance outside the period

You will need to start sending them mails constantly

Good evening, please I need your input. Just got admission into Concordia university for September but due to some unexpected issues I would like to defer to next year. Would I need to give reasons for deferring or just pay initial deposit and request for deferment without reasons? I'm kind of confused.

Continue to mail them. Make sure you are mailing the correct region handling international students from Africa. That's africa@centennialcollege.ca.

That's not how Centennial College works. They send you a deposit letter first informing you of the admission and ask you to pay the tuition deposit at a given deadline. The official Letter of Acceptance is then sent after confirmation of the deposit.

Yes, I'm aware of that. I'm actually asking about the previous jobs I've had. In the new portal, there's a section that asked to list all jobs in the last 10 years. I'm now asking that the job I had between 2016 - 2018, can a reference letter only suffice as evidence? There was no official letter issued or payslip.

I don't think they ask but if they do, you can say visa delay.

I don't know the policy Concordia uses but I believe if you pay the deposit, you can then defer
