VOICEofORIENTAL: They are looking for a safe landing which the west will not give them.
They wanted the sanctions imposed on them to be removed but, the EU & US told them to withdraw their troops first before any negotiation.
Just like you said, they are tired of the war but how to end it without damaging their image & reputation is their problem.
On the other side, Ukraine's president is not ready to play a friendly match with them, why because the Russians exhibited a high level of cannibalism in Bucha, Borodyanka.
Finally, the pressure, isolation & sanctions keep increasing on a daily basis against Russia. well said |

[s]Truly you’re daft and stupid. Your overrated mother Russia failed also in Afghanistan and had to run away after 8yrs of Talibans ramming their asses. They couldn’t even hold up as much as the US held up during theirs. And they left with a severe amount of casualties much more than that of the US.
I’m ashamed at u honestly. U aren’t smart as u claim. Why would the US declare a no flight zone on a country that’s not part of NATO? Rather Russia should attempt to bomb any nato nation and let’s see naa. After all Poland her neighbor and a NATO nation has been assisting Ukraine, yet Putin no fit mess. I thought he even bragged about attacking any nation that assists Ukraine, so what’s been happening to those countries assisting them.
Russia is f@cking overrated[/s]
OK you have just one chance to prove your smartness now by answering this question. You said Ukraine is not part of NATO so NATO can't declare no flight zone, was Libya part of NATO, why did NATO declared no flight zone in Libya? 1 Like |

However, Russia can't back down now in shame, as backing down now would be too shameful and embarrassing to the state of Russia. Russia is tired of the war, but don't know how to end it.
Russia underestimated a united and committed Ukraine with a powerful western and NATO backing.
If Russia don't back down now, they would be left with no ego and face as they would be drained in this war economically, militarily and other cost. Because this war would linger for years. A lot of people don't know the west intends to drain Russia with a long war using Ukraine as the contact point.
Don't worry about Ukraine, they would be rebuilt by those using them. Russia can't sustain a long long war.

mach7: You are just repeating Western narratives without any credible evidence to back up such a narrative.
The Russians placed a deal on the table in February. Recognise DPR and LPR as independent republics and recognise Crimea as part of Russia. The Ukrainians at the behest of their Western sponsors refused to do so and Russia decided to settle it militarily.
If you think that Russia will not achieve these stated goals either on the battlefield or at the negotiating table, then you are naive and don't know nada about Russians and their mentality.
With regards to elites leaving Russia, I hope you do mean Oligarchs and some Actors/TV Personalities because the real elites - The political players and owners of large businesses (backbone enterprises of Russia) stand gidigba with their president. Insought in their eyes, Putin is too soft and too weak.
Try and broaden your horizon on Russia, following CNN or BBC talking points won't give you a coherent and non-contradictory perspective. If you accuse of him repeating western narratives then, which narratives are you yourself repeating?... maybe Russian & Chinese narratives. You also mentioned CNN & BBC talking points?Do you know that the kremlins spokesman, Dimitri peskov speaks & chats with this Western media's almost every day? If this Western media's are not important to you they are very very important to the Kremlin. At the beginning of this invasion, Russia closed most channels of communication between Russia & the western media. They rescinded their decision after they realized that they needed the western media's to tell their own side of the story. Now, ask yourself why did Russia decided to open those channels of communication they blocked at the beginning of this invasion? |

That's because it's the easiest way out for Ukraine and NATO, not because you love Putin so much. Because from what we have seen if he continues on this path his military will be degraded to a point where rebuilding it to a superpower status will take more longer time. Eriokanmi: I never believed Russia could stay this long in Ukraine with their level of preparation. See those heavy tanks line up in procession into Ukraine, as if the world wouid just end. Some even said WW3 had begun. Ukraine ended up destroying most of them including their modern fighter jets and overrated warship. They lost great men and generals too. Most of the time, those who don't make noise are more dangerous.
Sometime ago, a gang of robbers threatened to visit the man whose street we lived in was named after. He's a wealthy and popular man in Lagos in the 90s. He didn't talk nor inform the police about the threats but he was well prepared for them. On the fateful night, they came, shot in the air to scare security personnel manning the street gates.
By the time they entered this man's house, only one managed to escape. He brought down about 5 of them, while the 2 of them keeping vigil on the streets zoomed off together with the one who managed to escape with heavy gunshot wounds. They came for his money cos in the 90s, people were keeping money at home, unlike now that Internet banking has taken over, except our politicians. What a lesson !
No country would take Russia seriously again in the future. I would like to hear the full story of the man in the 90ies. Can you expatiate on it? |

Eriokanmi: The question you should have asked is, has Russia won the war now? Have they now taken Kyiv as initially planned?
The annexed region, including Crimea are a fraction of Ukraine, if you know the land mass...it's quite huge. That said, their mission there wouldn't have ever been possible without the support of the separatists, those who have been pro Russia from the world go, those who were owners of that place and joined Russia to fight Ukraine. Its just like saying biafra is supporting an external aggressor like russia to fight Nigeria. Biafra has been saying they wanted to go so it wouid be easy for them to join forces with the aggressor to fight the entire Nigeria and if south east is annexed, how does that affect the entire Nigeria in land mass and population?
Without that arrangement, it would have been a futile mission for Russia. You can't come to my home and I give you the support you need and you'd not stay. That's exactly what the separatists did. They don't want to be under Ukraine anymore. In spite of this, Ukraine is still waxing stronger. Honesty speaking, the war didn't go as planned by Russia. Its a great dissapointment because Russia never planned of spending a month before fulfilling their mission. How I wish I could play the video for you to watch. How do you know what Russia planned for the war? Were you a party to the decision making? We need to quit regurgitating all these nonsense people write on the media. Nobody goes to war with and says they will win a war in 3 days or one month. Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe after Russia(by land mass). It's very foolish for anyone to say Russia planned to defeat Ukraine in 3 days or 1 month. When I hear people say such, I usually wonder what the level of their IQ is. We're talking about well fortified cities with bomb shelters from the soviet era and people just assume Russia will breeze in and out like it's nothing. As far as I am concerned, NATO and the west are the cause of the nonsense happening in Ukraine. They were urging Ukraine on from the onset and Zelensky was stating how they are a sovereign nation and have the right to join NATO and nobody can do anything. After the bombings started and the destruction of the country started in bits, he now decided that they won't be joining NATO. Isn't that foolishness? Something that could have been avoided. NATO that was threatening severe consequences if Russia attacks, and was sounding like they would come to the defense of Ukraine, has only been supporting without getting physically involved. I'm sure if Zelensky knew that they would not get involved physically, he would have taken a different approach to the whole conflict, and would have focused on a peaceful resolution. Russia has lost men and resources, Ukraine has lost men, resources, development, citizens, economy, etc. There's absolutely nothing to be proud about in this conflict. 3 Likes |

So far, the plan is working very well. 500 Ukrainian soldiers die per day. Soon the country will break into two As at today According to the Ukrainian media, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine asked Zelensky for a decree on the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from North Donetsk. It is stated that about 4000 fighters in the coming days could come to a complete environment by the VRF and the People's Militia of the LNR / DNR and experience the fate of Mariupol. #FrontUkraine #Severnodonetsk |
