Chickens are often infected if your poultry environment is dirty ie stagnant water breeding mosquitoes .

It's best you dispose the remaining birds and decontaminate .then improve on hygiene

It's Coryza. Go to vet stores, tell them u need drug to treat coryza. It's common and do not be afraid

I think there are no enough details for proper diagnosis like outset, how it progressed etc because this is a pictorial examination. All I see is the infammation of the supraorbital nerves .This could be manifestations of fowl pox, infectious coryza etc but our focus should be on joint infections.

Sulfanamides will work well, get a drug called TRIPLE SULPHA (it is milk like and in a sachet) in your local vet store, use as instructed on the label

A mucolytic agent too will be good to clear off the clogged respiratory tract and to make the antibiotics penetrate well into their body tissues. Bromhexine + aminoglycosides antibiotics (get Reo-Pox) from your local vet store use as instructed on the label.

Triple sulpha from 6am to 3pm, withdraw the med, give feed from 3pm to 5pm, give the Reo-pox from 5pm to 5am the following day. Provide light and feed for night feeding.

One of my friend had this many turkeys and this exact same thing happened to him. The turkeys wouldn't see and were not eating well. He went to animal pharmacy and bought a drug like that. Started dropping it into the mouth and before a week or 2 the rubbish on their faces disappeared and they became whole again. Go to any animal pharmacy around you. It's treatable and not life threatening. Show the pharmacy the chicken pics.

I remember when I was young this thing got to one of our chickens and it spread to the others within a week we lost 61 of them and that was the end of poultry business for my dad.

3. Use red hot knife to smoulder those infection points and then remove the thick skins and you will notice that it is not actually skin lesions but bacteria as you will see the peeled skin has legs and the legs will be moving showing that it is a living organism (this process is always very painful to the bed but is the only effective way out).

Either you like it or not... This is fowl pox which you suppose to vaccinate your chicken against at the age of 10-12weeks with jabber through their wings. You can only cure it with strong antibiotics which can cure coryza and fowl pox because the two diseases share very similar symptoms.

fowlpox,avipox, infections coryza and in some cases you may have CRD in the mix also,I see they are broilers,is treating them feasible, sustainable and cost effective,is it not better to sell them off than spending more money,time and labour treating broilers that has a low probability of surviving such barrage of disease,prevention is key in broiler production,if it is pullets treatment is feasible and advisable

Please it is not that kind bad one, don't panic,all you need to do is to look for condemned engine oil and apply it on the affected area morning and night for just three to four day it will cure the thing.

Mix red oil and salt together then aply regularly.Thank me later.

u might have used different drugs to no avail.
"the fact is rub the affected part with coconut oil and give the birds usual antibiotics" in the absence of coconut oil u palm oil but the former is more effective.

Fried a red oil. When still very hot. Put in that thing. It will die in and outside slowly. The outside layouts will pull off. Continue to out the hot oil it will melt and disappeared.

Buy original palm oil and add little salt. Then rub it on affected areas and watch it disappear

I believe any oil will work. It appears greasy substances suffocates the causative microbe.

Get palm kernel oil and put it frequently. It will heal
