I will be moving to Birmingham, my work station will be around B9. Can someone suggest nice and cheaper areas to look for decent accommodation, 30 mins bus or train is fine. Checking zoopla and it seems accommodation is on the high side. Any suggestions

Please help me reason this my question o, I just got an apartment barely settled in and TV license people sent a letter to say they've opened investigation to come visit the house and confirm we don't watch live TV.

As a background to the above, it appears there has been series of correspondence between the former tenant and TV license people which went unanswered before we moved in.
Thinking of calling them on phone to say we've only just moved into UK and not aware of the previous correspondence, and we opened this letter because it read legal occupier, and we are now the legal occupier and also to say we don't have TV, no plan of getting TV any time soon and we've not been watching live TV since arriving here. Is this OK to say

Please your opinions are highly welcome. Thanks

Put in your current address. (UK)
put in your previous address. (UK)

Even if they both do not total to three years, (2 months in my case) you will no longer be asked for address details again.

Thanks for this information. Just got approved for 3k

It’s a normal letter.
Call them tomorrow to tell them you don’t have any TV and you are not subscribing to and TV channel. They would cancel it from their side and send you a new letter confirming the cancellation

INVITATION LETTER

Greetings all,
I live in France and I and my family (4 in total) would like to visit the UK to see my sister and her family. They just arrived last year.
First, do I have to indicate that I have family inthe UK?
If yes, DOES my sister have to give me us an invitation letter?
Thank you for your kind responses.

when they ask for your address, did you state that you stayed in here for more than 3 years

We just put her uk address for 2 month and then there was a prompt to enter another address, we chose address out of the uk and it said sailed through

I believe it is a yes to all your questions but most importantly read the guidelines and requirements on applying for a uk visitor’s visa from france.

Do you have a smartphone, laptop, tablet, phablet or any device used to stream programs through the internet ?....?

By writing them, they now have your details..... Yes, they would cancel previous communication, but the new letters, would now have your full details........

Well, I informed the forum last week that I would be keeping you updated this week on my Driving Theory test which I failed last week and paid for it to be retaken this week… Look no further, I DID WELL TODAY…. Now on to practical… Anyone with guidance on how to excel on the practical should not endeavor to share..

Gratitude to the man that suggest I buy The Yellow Theory Test Pro, it seems as though they copied from the app to the website… grin grin grin

I got approved now with 4k limit. 5 months stay in the UK.
ProfJYK:

Yes You Can. I got my first one as a student barely 3 months in this country.

I recommend co-branded cards or loyalty card for starters as they demand less stringent requirements for beginers.

Try the free British Airways American Express card using this referral link below.

http://amex.co.uk/refer/eJIKeOmcG5?XL=MNMNS

Please don't be shy to embellish your income small by entering something substantial to prevent rejection. You can put up 10 #19,000 in other income as well

Please ensure you pay your full outstanding monthly and don't carry over more than 30% credit limit utilisation at the statement close date. Anything above 30% reported to the registries has an adverse effect on credit score.

Ps. I am also a beginner in the UK.

White City

White city is not very cheap, but the cheap areas around there are a bit rough and full of estates, the places close to Grenfell tower
