That is the only fair thing to do.

And luckily, we have the best candidate in Peter obi.

If you value the future progress and unity of the south, you would support a South East presidency.

Corporate2020:
Yes, Presidency should go to the South East in 2023. But, Igbos must fight for it. Presidency will never be zoned to any Igbo village.

Obasanjo, Buhari, Goatluck, Yar'Adua, all contested against candidates from other regions, including Igbos. So, Igbos too should come out as they have already done, present not more than two consensus candidates and mobilize for them to face candidates from other regions.

There is no single Igbo cowards on Earth, none ever existed. Anybody bearing Igbo name and saying that the Presidency should be zoned to Igbo villages without contest by other regions, is definitely a bastard. Igbos will face anybody in any contest.

Several Igbos have contested for and won political offices in UK, USA, Canada, e.t.c., why then will a true Igbo man be afraid of contesting against other regions right here in their father's land?
Stop eating yourself,it will do earn you nothing

They don't have any power to order Yoruba to vote for any candidate from any fvcking tribe that they don't want, those old men just have power on their families and not on millions of Yoruba in Nigeria, they are speaking for themselves and their families and not for Yoruba. Come 2023, Yoruba will support their own and nothing anybody can do about it
God bless Tinubu

If a non Southern-easterner emerges as president in 2023, one naijeria would never happen for a very very long time possibly even in our lifetime, and the forces of division would get even louder.

Development and progress?
Forget it.

Both of them does not happen in an athmosphere of anger, greivance and suspicion.

They talked sensibly.
South East people need to woo and convince other regions.

I have fear having a south east person as president. That is my personal opinion. I prefer wike or amaechi or others from south south that are equally igbos.

Anybody from any region can be president including me a kwaran.

But south east person, it get comma.
The bible says the wicked runs when no man is pursuing. Why will Nigerians be scared of Igbo man becoming president if not that they know they were wicked to Igbos. The Igbo man has moved on with his life and rebuilt his cities but the rest of Nigerians are still scared of vengeance.

It is a good call to support an Igbo presidency, however, the candidates themselves have to take part in the political process by forming political alliances, outlining their vision for the country and wooing voters from all parts of the country. Politics is a game of numbers and alliances.

The southeast is not ready for presidency because they play self-destructive politics. They don’t reach out to others and respect others. They feel arrogant and expect to get everything by threats and violence.
And Obasanjo is a an enemy of Tinubu and he knows Tinubu will win the election at this rate. That’s why they are playing the role of spoilers.

How Tinubu SW APC refuses zoning in the southern regions but depends on zoning to enable south produce a successor to president Buhari, is flabbergasting to say the least.

It's not too yet late for Tinubu SW APC to back the SE to produce APC successor to president Buhari. There are too many presidential materials among the SE politicians who formed APC with Tinubu and others.

If the SE, SS and SW adhere to zoning principles and back the SE to pick PDP presidential ticket, Atiku or any other Northern presidential aspirant can not win PDP presidential ticket.

Who told you they trust GEJ? He has corruption cases they are using to blackmail him, they want him to come and do 4 years and hand it back to them. He his being used. He could not restructure Nigeria and could not implement the the confab report with him. Is state baylsea, contributes more money to Nigeria than many Nigerian states, yet when it is distributed, they get less money because of fewer local government and size.
