Day 2 - clean

To show how bad I need this change, there was a heavy downfall. People took shade at the big bet9ja shop nearby. I didn't want to take chances. I stood far off where the rain got to me.

On day one (Sunday 8/5/22), I trekked down to a Mallam's shop to charge my phone (50 naira). I had to forego the comfort of sitting in a betshop to charge my phone and watch football matches.

Day 3 - 10/5/22

Day 4 - 11/5/22

Clean

Trying to use not more than 350 (at most) a day for food. At times, overspending and using people's money, puts me in a precarious situation where I get to gamble.

ROUTINE

- Trek to work
Morning food - small bread and akara (150) free water from water dispenser

Evening food - small beans and garri (150) fetch a can of water home (from water dispenser) to soak garri

God works in miraculous ways for his children. I was billed to remit 3k today to customers. I had nothing on me and they had already approached the office

Luckily, persons came who wanted a new account and brought the total I needed. I was able to rob Peter to pay Paul. Hopefully I continue like that (swapping funds) till pay day, and clear it all

I just couldn't afford visiting the place 100 naira is paid to charge phone consistently. The worst part is that, they could plug your phone with a wrong charger and no bar will enter after waiting for hours

God help me. I have nothing in my hand or on my account. So I guess I am safe. This will only be done on Saturdays and Sundays. For weekdays, I can charge at the office

My only problem now is that I have started using people's money. I just need to feed. I fear when the time comes to pay, I would be tempted to gamble in order to pay back


As a added motivation, I will add 'no masturbation' or carbonated drinks to my renaissance.

Lol! If somebody hit big or win big money as at the time u are there, and decides to do giveaway, my guy u will eventually try your luck, I have been there before. Please try keep off ENTIRELY. GAMBLING IS Bad. Thank God I packed out from my former abode to a new environment, that realy help to reduce the spirit of gambling. Now I hardly go out to betshops. I must say am happy with my new found commitment.

Bold move - paid my debt in the betshop I ran from earlier. I can now move freely anywhere I like


Challenge - left with just 4500, till the next salary. Lord intervene
