Good morning, can anyone advise of the interview waiver tracking process. I have been tracking my parents renewal application but the status is stuck on "Application Received". The last updated date, has changed twice since it was submitted but the actual status, hasn't moved from "Received". Can anyone advise? Am I looking in the wrong place?

Pepes:
Interview waiver submission takes 3days for the decision to be made if you have checked your status at ceac and it says issued or refused and after 2days you have not received a mail to pick up your passport kindly proceed to DHL your passport is already there I submitted on the 3rd of February and my visa was issues on the 8th I picked up from DHL on the 10th and I never got an email for pick up.

If your visa says refused then it has been refused if it doesn't say anything and it has been like that for over 5days proceed to DHL to check for your passport you might be required to submit extra documentation

You are looking at the correct site. I suggest being patient. Did you submit in Lagos? Based on my observation, Abuja might be slightly faster. This might be because they have just started IW appointments (about 6 weeks ago). My mum submitted on the 14th of April and was issued by 20th of April. Her status changed from Application Received, Administrative Processing, and then to Issued. Some other folks who submitted in Lagos waited for much longer. It is a waiting game. Continue to monitor the tracking website. They will inform you if they require any document(s) from you.

Congrats once again bro

Nothing is impossible for those whose minds are prepared. With some push and luck, u will get results

Ur story sort of confirms to me that applying away from ur country of nationality with the adjusted status (ur UK Biometric Residence Permit) goes some way to ameliorate the VO's fear for ur anticipated return back to base after ur sojourn to the US. Coupled with the delinking and linking of the sub-stories in ur earlier application with ur parents and the quick explanation away of a non-relationship with ur extended family in Houston gave some respite along with ur ties with ur/family businesses in Nigeria.

Pls can u shed more light on the circumstances surrounding ur friend's visa denial so that we can adduce what went wrong with his visa application and learn if u don't mind. Did he also have a BRP like u? Was he going on holiday? Did he present ties to home country like u did? Or was the VO afraid of issuing even though his case was like urs.

Thanks and Congrats

Where was your visa revoked? Why was it revoked?

Neither the Department or CPB handle this correctly usually. It is not a permanent ban, but it can take years for a new visa to be issued.

Hi.
Please can anyone help with phone number or email for cfgi federal or any channel to complain.

It’s been 3 weeks of paying my dads’ MRV fees but I’m unable to select a date. Can’t move pass that “visa type” on his account once I click on non-immigrant and it takes me back to the home page and the never ending loop starts.

How long does it take for someone to pickup their passport in Abuja? My mum had her interview on Monday & by Tuesday I tracked & saw it has been issued but till today been Thursday, she’s yet to get a mail or sms for pickup. My mum doesn’t stay in Abuja & scheduled to leave by Sunday.

Please how can I best handle this?

DAD: for visitation. We are going to visit a family(note: this family in question is my aunt's husband and children, as my aunt just recently passed away as at then)
VO: where do they stay?
DAD: Houston Tx
VO: How is the person related to you?
MOM: she is my sister
VO: what is her name?
(told him)

(handed us the pink slip alongside our passport
NOTE: In the application form, we had stated the fact that I am the C.O.O of my dad's company

fast-forward to this year
LOCATION: LONDON

D-DAY
(Took all necessary documents except one important thing for biometric, my UK BRP that shows my status in the UK. I asked if I should give them a photocopy and she said when I get to the interviewer's cubicle I should let her know if she will accept the photocopy. meanwhile, I should sit and watch the screen till my waiting number is displayed. that was when the hot sh*t hold me from nowhere. as I no wan dy sweat in front of VO when being interviewed, sharp sharp I run enter toilet go clear 1 or 2. I came back waiting patiently for my number to come up but it didn't. then I noticed the hall was becoming empty so I walked towards the security man to ask what up, he made a call to find out and he was told my number was called twice but no one responded, but since I am here, my number will pop up in a min)

Hello everyone, I’m new on this thread and I have a question. I submitted my B1/B2 visa application (IW) on April 21 and my status on CEAC shows administrative processing till date; case was last updated on April 28. I haven’t been asked to walk in for an interview or submit additional documents. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced a similar wait time? What did you do?

Good day everyone please the school I’m applying to requested I provide financial documents that show readily available funds to cover estimated expense with funds in US dollars.

Does this mean the bank to give a statement of account in the equivalent of dollar or the account must be a dollar account? Cause my sponsor is saying he doesn’t own a dollar account. Please someone clarify

Send your normal account statement. The school should be able to convert to USD @ official exchange rate.
