My brother, they easily use religion and ethnicity to polarise Nigerians because a lot of people don't have common sense. Why do they have to match Obi and Tinubu instead of Obi and Osinbanjo?. They know that with Obi v. Osinbanjo there won't be any disagreement, a lot of Igbos love Osinbanjo and a lot of Yorubas love Obi. So the idea is to square up Obi and Tinubu so that the division will be higher and it will appear like ethno-religious division which favours the narration of some people. Like I said , a lot of Nigerians have degrees but with empty heads, what is in their brain is ethnicity and religion and they are ready to use it to produce Satan as President if need be rather than support a better candidate that's from another religious or ethnic group.

Quran protects lives, some adulterated and lazy Muslims that refuses to understand the religion go with this stupid ideology of extremists, there are verses in the Quran that teaches peaceful coexistence. Pity those who believe in Atiku's promise to restructure Nigeria politically if elected president of Nigeria.
Fact is that Atiku can never convince northerners to sign onto political restructuring of Nigeria, because the skewed and lopsided political structure created by Arewa soldiers is what gives Arewa the tremendous opportunity to largely determine who emerges president of Nigeria. The too many states and local government areas proliferated by Arewa soldiers in Arewa channel more of Nigeria's federal allocations to Arewa.

This issue that we are joking with can lead to a civil war.

I was very troubled by the video of that dastardly act.

Having grown up in the north in the 90s myself, I am very aware of these tendencies. The trauma and biggest shock for me is knowing that in 2022 we still have deep fanatics amongst the so-called learned Northerners who find murdering a fellow Northerner appropriate because of a religion whose tenets they themselves don't wholly keep. Many Twitter and Facebook posts from our so-called northern literates encouraging this criminality should bother any right thinking Nigerian.

I am sorrier for our Muslim brothers down south who are putting all their efforts into trying to launder the image of Islam. Truth is your Muslim brothers up north don't rate you as true Muslims because of your moderacy.

I am even the much sorrier for our Christian brothers who are of northern extraction and are trapped amongst people who see them as lesser humans because of a religion whose exporters have long modified to suit modern realities.

The sorriest for a people who are FORCED to live their lives TOGETHER with those who think themselves superior based on imported faith, which we all hypocritically follow. How else are we so religious and fantastically corrupt, and a breeding field for all atrocities against human kind thrive in our land?

Oh Nigeria, who cursed you beyond redemption, who?
