there are about 3 similar cases in Kano with the NHRC protecting the victims and public outcry for them to be protected. They knew she'd get protection if they handed her to the authorities so they took matters into their own hands. It's messed up

Thank you for “schooling” me. I admit I didn’t know the victim’s parents lives in Niger State. As for the governor I mention, I roped him into my comment for obvious reasons I believe well-informed “teachers” like you will understand. Now, concerning my worry about the couples safety, I think- and most reasonable Nigerians at this point- also thinks Muslim extremism have little to no regard for demographic identity. In other words, whether they have lived there for hundred years won’t matter if they decide their god need blood. But as you’ve rightly taught me, I need not worry as that poor, grieving couple live far from sokoto. Let’s just hope their brothers in that state don’t decide to pitch in for allah. Once again, thanks for the education. I know better now.

You're asking "what are they still doing in that state? " well for your Information, they do not live in Sokoto or Kaduna, they live in Niger state. And that's their home. It's just like you telling them to pack from their home to seek asylum elsewhere. So calm down, no matter what! That's their land, they were born and raised there and it's the only place they know and recognize as home.

It's just like you telling an Igbo man to run out of his state because Igbos are killing his people, even though they all dress the same, speak the same language and look the same but with different ideology about life.
