I paid for TLS post submission express courier service because I realized a week after Biometrics I can't travel back to Lagos for my document. I was surprised to receive collection mail on 6th May and up till now my document has not been delivered. I even sent mail to them and they have not replied.
Any advice on what to do?
you can track it online

It's in the Application received by VAC stage since and the only stage left is showing passport picked by applicant. Could they be expecting me to come and pick it after paying for courier service?

Give or take, within 1 week you should get the collection mail. Is it visit visa or work visa?

Quick Question Guys,

Is this where i am supposed to write a cover letter to the ECO ??
Also, where do i upload my supporting documents ? Is it on the Gov.UK site or on TLS after i have made payment.
Thanks
Sorry if this has been asked before i have searched but could not find the answer

Second Question

I plan on attending my Masters Graduation in July,i am currently unemployed but i have savings in which i have been depositing 800,000 for the last 5 months in preparation for this trip. I intend on staying for only 3 days and return. Attend the ceremony purely and come back.
I also had a Schegen Visa issued in London which i used forrip to Europe, though i have lost the passport. I recently had a Turkey visa issued on my new passport.

Please do i stand a chance of getting the visa. ?? Any advices also ?

Many Thanks

If indeed you submitted NPC birth certificate, then the decision is very likely to be upturned if you request for Administrative Review. Send paid and non paid mails airing your displeasure - politely. Repeat the mails three, four, five days after. You'll definitely get a response.

Yes it was submitted, thank you for your advice.

Hello House,

I so much appreciate the sharing of info here .

Please I want to know if one can use funds in a joint account of sponsor ( husband) and dependant ( wife) as POF? Or should the dependant just open a personal account and move the POF there.
The joint account is in both names and they share the same surname.

Hi everyone, my sister's 2 year old daughter just got denied a visit visa, with the reason that the birth certificate not been official, mean while she submitted both the hospitals birth certificate and the national population commission birth certificate. So which one is not official birth certificate again. Was it that the Eco didn't check out the NPC's birth certificate. Please i need your advice on this. Can this be contested?

My advise: reapply and attach only the NPC birth certificate. I also have hospital birth certificates for my children but I've never used them for any reason as I don't want any kind of confusion. The ECO was confused and you worsened the case by presenting the hospital BC a second time. There is hope. Reapply and add a cover letter to explain the reasons for the previous refusals. You might want to wait a bit before you reapply because if you reapply so soon after two back to back refusals, you might appear desperate - which is a red flag. Good luck!

Clarification, for biometrics with self upload option. Is it just the international passport and checklist that are required as documents to take alongfor biometrics?

Hello house,

Want to know if someone with 2yrs visa stayed for 3months that traveled back to Nigeria without the visitor visa not being expired, and decided to apply for study visa will that be an issue, since you still have a visitor visa of 2yrs.
Thank you

Nchabuomo:

As long as your personal circumstances have not changed negatively and you do not make a convoluted application, you should be fine. Good luck

Hello good people,
Kindly help confirm if an unvaccinated traveller returning to Nigeria from UK, needs to do a PCR test and book days 2 and 7 tests in Nigeria.
Thank you

Yes, unvaccinated passenger needs PCR test. Day 2 and 7 are required also.

All passengers travelling to Nigeria from any country MUST register via the online Nigeria International Travel Portal (nitp.ncdc.gov.ng)

Fully vaccinated passengers arriving in Nigeria will not be required to carry out a pre-boarding COVID-19 PCR test nor carry out a Post-arrival PCR test or Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival in Nigeria

Fully vaccinated passengers must show a verifiable full vaccination certificate otherwise, they will be treated as unvaccinated/partially vaccinated under this protocol

Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated passengers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test 48hrs before departure and conduct days 2 and 7 post-arrival PCR tests. Such passengers will be expected to pay for their PCR tests through the NITP

Children below the age of 18 years will be accorded the same privileges as persons who are fully vaccinated.

Passengers who do not adhere to the travel protocol will face the penalty as stipulated by the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19

How about Nigeria to UK for unvaccinated adults please

Travel to England rules:
When you travel to England, you:

- do not need to complete a UK passenger locator form before you travel
- do not need to take any COVID-19 tests before you travel or after you arrive
- do not need to quarantine when you arrive

This applies whether you are vaccinated or not.

It includes people who are transiting through England.

Other countries may have rules about what you need to do to leave the country to travel to England. You should check travel advice for the country you are travelling from.
