Good Morning All. I need help in deciding what to do. I have a 15Y study gap. Graduated in 2006; but I have been working since I finished my NYSC in 2008; total of 14 years. I am 36YO. I want to apply to study in Canada; I tried doing an MSc but it is expensive and most of the schools I have seen are requesting for GRE or GMAT. I read through Centennial College and Humber College's Entry Requirements and can't see Academic IELTS. Is this correct? I am also looking at New Brunswick Community College. Is it advisable to go for a PG Certificate or an outright Msc because of the Study Gap and Experience? I do not want to pay $75CAD twice. |

Nitand2:If you need information regarding your application , then you need to log into your IRCC account using your gckey and ask your question via webform. In that case they would be able to confirm that it is you and reply to your questions accordingly. |

MsLane:PG Cert is good for you due to the study gap. Most schools will likely not offer you admission for Master degree because of the study gap. Quite a good number of schools don't request IELTS from Nigerians. Be careful of NBCC and others that delight in eating application fee by throwing you into a waitlist. |

Is it possible to go for a PGD in the middle of a second Bsc? This is the backstory. A mutual is doing a second Bsc in Germany and wants to take a Leave of absence to go and do a 1year diploma. He has his leave of absence approval and has his family in Germany. Can it fly? |

TomisinFemi:What is the intention behind the leave of absence? Are you residing in Germany on study permit? |

Hello guys . Please quick one. I want to pay tuition and I have 5k USD(in US) , should I send it and change it to naira via black market rate at 595 2,975,000 and request for form A to pay to the school. At CBN rate 323 , I’ll be able to pay up to $8,000CAD in tuition with this money. Or I should just ask the sender to pay directly to the school from US which would be 6,000 CAD . The school dint give a deadline but I want to submit my application by next week. I can upload it via webform . But with the whole form A wahala , what if it doesn’t work ? I don’t want to be stuck halfway and have to use fly wire at the end of the day thereby paying ridiculous rate . Pls what do you guys advice . |

Good morning everyone Please how do I pay my tuition fee via form A using CIBC or Western Pay. The school gave option to pay via CIBC OR WESTERN PAY But I want to use form A cos of the rate. Thank you in advance for your prompt responses. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by CentennialGuy: 10:41am On May 20, 2022 |
Josh3322:Okay. Perhaps you should do what they are asking you to do then. In my case, I submitted the BVL as I don't have any slip because I did my Biometrics many years ago. VFS called me a few days later that I have to pay the N9,410 transmission fee. So maybe that's the new rule if one can't find the Biometric slip. |

Nitand2:Hello Nitand2, I want to ask you a simple question and I want you to be truthful. Did you use a fraudulent(doctored/forged) account statement? Cos if you did, then there is nothing that can be done. And it won't be refusal unless the VO wants to be lenient. what you got is a procedural fairness letter (PFL) which precedes a ban for misrepresentation. |
