Ok

They can be persuaded as usual

They may not like it but grudgingly they will accept
Why do you think Tinubu will be persuaded to step down from his ambition? If you are in Tinubu's shoe, will you step down when you know you can get it and you are capable to lead?

If you know about Nigerian Electoral law, then you will know all the candidates have to agree to consensus before it can work.

If any of the candidates no gree, the party will have to go for the primaries unless they want Zamfara to repeat itself.
What nonsense are you uttering Mr Parachoko?

APC is not an Islamic political party, they cannot produce back to back Muslim Presidents.

In 1998, Alex Ekwueme formed and financed PDP until it became a formidable party.

It was taken for granted that he would be PDP candidate in the upcoming 1999 elections.

But Nigerians reached a consensus that the presidency should be conceded to the Southwest for 1993 mishap.

That was how Obasanjo was released from prison and handed the ticket of the party he did not sow in. He was never at the nocturnal meetings during the formative stage of the party but the ticket was handed to him.

But Ogbonnaya Onu and Rochas Okorocha were there from the start in the formative days of APC yet you lots will say Southeast did not invest in APC.

I was in Jos working for Ekwueme. It was a transparent primary and that was why PDP did not explode. Let Buhari allow for a transparent primary otherwise, APC will explode and scatter which will also work for PDP.

Yes!

The kind of contest that happened at APC convention in 2014 in Lagos abi?

Where Tinubu threw his weight behind Buhari to get the APC ticket…

But if them ask you, you will say that Atiku, Kwankwaso, Okorocha and Sam Nda Isaiah contested as well but you will not mention that Buhari would have failed woefully if Tinubu did not endorse and work for him.

The problem with you people is that you lie to yourselves a lot. You something as clear as noon day and called it midnight while expecting others to join you in lying to themselves.

Nobody is stopping Tinubu and other Yoruba aspirants from contesting, Buhari is simply going to throw his weight behind who he likes and wants like Tinubu did for Buhari in 2014.

Chikina!
You are the one making the mistake. Let Buhari throw his weight behind any candidate of his choice but let him allow primary to go ahead instead of pushing for consensus.

It is quite simple APC will lose the general election if the President allows Tinubu to have his selfish way & buy the delegates.

No one stopped Igbos from contesting in 1998, why should you guys be demanding for people like Tinubu should step down?

No one is stopping Okorocha or Onu from contesting at the primaries
Obasanjo has been chosen on consensus before the primary election. In order to douse the tension raised by the Yorubas because of the evil treatment of MKO Abiola, the North's ruling class decided to compensate them with the presidency. And Obasanjo was the most trusted Ally. Obasanjo was specifically released from the prison for this purpose. So the PDP's presidential primary in Jos in 1998 was just a facade to satisfy all righteousness.

Same thing with APC. APC had already chosen Buhari on consensus in 2014/15 even before the primary was held in Lagos that year.

Pdp lost in 2015 because of Jonathan’s Selfish ambition, when it was known fact that it was meant to go back up North, APC will lose 2023 if they select Bola Tinubu, the hand writing is already on the wall.

Politics is about strategy, not necessarily about the so called most popular candidate, Tinubu is a Muslim from southern Nigeria, his candidacy will not fly.

It's just a pity some of you don't really know Buhari.

Buhari has already chosen his candidate since last year, but typical of him, he will allow everybody to waste their time and money visiting delegates. Buhari will only appear some days to the primary and impose his candidate on everybody in the name of location. And nobody will disagree because the APC people have foolishly made Buhari a god in their party to the extent that nobody disagrees with him.

In your dream, bush Ogun state.
If Lagos is not beside Ogun, it would have remained the bush it was, Lagos is even developed cause it was once Nigerians capital. If not it would have been a bush too.
Dream on, the whole eastern state was a ruin after the civil war, our brothers rebuilt it, Imo state airport our brothers too built it without a single allocation from Nigeria government.
The whole of the west can't even stand quarter of what we easterners have been through, yet we came out stronger and better.
Talk about marginalization if Nigeria works well just as Lagos and Abuja have had a fair share of development cause the both were capital, give us one eastern state like that and watch us turn it to Dubai.
The hate you have for us will kill you.
Oh, if my brothers have left Lagos after it ceased to be capital, it would have been nothing.
How many Yoruba person is in Lapido, idumota, Ajah, Alaba,Idumota and so one?
Maybe 20% Yorubas, Igbos are majority. If we leave hunger go kill you and your kinsmen
