There's no way Ten Hag doesn't care about Rangnick's opinion. If that's the case, he's already setting himself up for failure. It means he's going to go into the job just like the ones before him did. You can't take everything he said literally because English is not his first language and he's very blunt.

Let Ten Hag come in and Ignore Rangnick. Buy De Jong for 80m, Anthony for 70m, Nunez for 80m and so on. And let's see how everything turns out.

Ten Hag at Ajax was never the one taking the real decisions. He's not that guy. The ones behind everything knows the style of play of Ajax so they bring in players that fit that style. And Ten Hag makes use of them perfectly.

It's not United that he'll come to and start forming I'm the one in charge.

The way I'll know if Ten Hag has really thrown Rangnick aside is when we start buying the players.

If we start getting De Jong, Anthony, Timber De ligt and co then I'll know Ten Hag is the one making all the decisions.
