cheesy

These lies you Yoruba people keep spewing on social media is laughable. I should have passed on but for the sake of guests and maybe foreigners who might visit this site, I had to make an input.

As per the first bolded - You lots make it seem Lagos was an undeveloped backwater state before Tinubu came onboard. You also make it look like the past and present administrations did not do anything in Lagos. One may be left to wonder if Tinubu that was the progenitor and founding father of Lagos with all these your narratives.

See, any one can perform well in Lagos given the strategic position of Lagos and the state being an economic hub. Lagos has many multi-nationals and has a high IGR. Have you wondered why Lagos' budget always runs into billions. Anyone can perform well in Lagos, even a dunce.

As per the second bolded - No Igbo person hates Tinubu rather, we are here to expose the hypocrisy of you and your people. You would recall that pre and post 2015, you, Tinubu and your other kinsmen called us "children of hate and perdition", "5%ers", et al. just because we didn't support the candidate Tinubu brought out. Your Tinubu betrayed the South for his personal gains. Coincidentally, none of you are saying anything about that. Tinubu broke the law by having stakes in Alpha Beta Company but none of you are saying anything about it.

Lastly, they're many Igbos doing exceeding well in many parts of the country than Lagos. If all the in Nigeria "rush" to Lagos, the city won't be enough to contain us and you. So you can see your hypocrisy and lies? Do you know how many Igbos are doing good as business men in Onitsha, Jos, Kano and the rest?

Learn to put up logical arguments and leave sentiments out of it.

It's either these guys saying that Tinubu developed Lagos are ignorant juveniles or paid goons who already know the truth but desperately want to decieve gullible Nigerians. Lagos was Nigeria's federal capital for donkey years before it was moved to Abuja and has since remained the economic, financial and infrastructure capital even before Tinubu emerged as governor in 1999.

Even during the military era, Buba Marwa was regarded as the best military governor just because he was ruling a relatively more advanced state than his peers. Between 1999 and 2007, they can't point at any mega infrastructural or social amenities Tinubu built befiting the huge economy of the state. They keep attributing whatever success Fashola or Ambode had as Tinubu's which is quite ridiculous to say the least. Another foolish rhetoric his online urchins always make is that Tinubu made many guys simply because he has been planting his stooges in strategic places all over the state just to protect his interests, another selfish and wicked act that is affecting Lagos negatively being cunningly promoted as good deed.

The truth they've refused to acknowledge is that were Tinubu to be the governor of any other state in the SW, he would have been as mediocre.

Everyone with grey matter knows that Tinubu can't do anything significant in Aso rock and would probably be worse than Buhari. On the contrary, if there is any president that won't loot with impunity or allow his cabinet members to do so, that person is Peter Obi. If there is any presidential candidate who understands the challenges and economic problems bedeviling Nigeria and appears to have solutions albeit in theory, that person is Peter Obi.

In a sane country where citizens are educated and have average IQ, there won't even be contest between these guys like Tambuwal, Tinubu, Wike, Anyim, or Saraki but this is Nigeria where ethnicity and religious considerations are the only yardstick for electing presidents. To me Peter Obi is Nigeria's last chance to save itself from imminent collapse and other Nigerians who understand the situation are also desperately praying for Obi to emerge.

Lastly, please don't generalize these Tinubu online urchins with Yorubas because there are still many sane Yorubas who know the truth and are supporting Peter Obi with passion. In fact, these online hoodlums always want to make it a tribal issue since they understand their principal is no match against Peter Obi. He can't possibly become Nigeria's president based on Igbo or Southern votes alone, so we shouldn't alienate other Nigerians who are also needed to make this dream come true.

Stop this hypocrisy.

When Tinubu supporters say the same, you praise them. When Obi's do same things, you turn around to blame them for "demarketing" their candidate.

Selective justice isn't justice at all.

Tinubu's supporters do not call those who do not support him empty brains or idiots. That's what Obi's fans are noted for. Even Reno Omokri confirmed it. Especially on Twitter, they are nauseating. One would think Anambra is now paradise.

Tell what Tinubu did, apart from using his fraudulent company to pocket 10% of Lagos tax. Hope you know he still wanted by the law enforcement agency in America for pushing drugs in his hay days. This is someone who we all saw loaded two bullion vans filled with dollars to share to his Lagos delegates. And you wanna trust the treasury of nation with that man who still has a case with EFCC.
Peter Obi and probably Donald Duke are the only two Nigerian politicians EFCC has never invited for questioning since they left government

Someone who was visited this year by the US ambassador? Someone with American Citizenship? How on earth can U ask what Tinubu did. There's a thread on Twitter where thousands of beneficiaries of his free WAEC and free Childbirth schemes are praying for him.

Tinubu didn't revolutionise LAWMA, LASTMA, LIRS? He didn't increase IGR by 1000%?

Tinubu didn't sign the BRT deal? He didn't start the project of the Lekki Free trade zone? He didn't launch Rapid Response Squad which is the finest unit in Nigeria?

For your information, Tinubu never made it so. Stop spreading that fucking lie and propaganda. Lagos has always drawn people from all over Nigeria and west Africa even during the military days before the advent of democracy in 1999. The only advantage Lagos has against other state is her population which is a market. Lagos has always been a market for business people even during the 1950s hence the attraction it gets. It was never about Tinubu’s ingenuity that made Lagos attractive. It could have been Calabar that would have been the economic magnet of the country but sadly she only enjoyed that position for two years before the British moved it to Lagos
Stop giving us trash of how Tinubu transformed Lagos. He didn’t. Even Lagos is far worse when compared to other cities that are considered ‘mega status’ . She’s the very least and that’s the truth. The infrastructure in Lagos can’t even cater for a population of 8million people talk less about the population of 30 million people and you said Tinubu transformed Lagos, how? Or abi you should say Lagos transformed him by making him the richest landlord in Africa. The taxes we Lagosian pay is barely sufficient to cater for the infrastructure and on top of that Tinubu is still having a percentage in our taxes we paid because of what, Baba don’t ever mention it here again that Tinubu transformed Lagos. You think Lagos starts in VI and ends in Marwa bus stop

How come Lagos was only earning 600million monthly before he came?

How come there was no modern waste disposal system before Tinubu?

How come there was no effective Traffic management before he came?

Why is he the one with the BRT idea?

Why is he the one who opened up the Lekki free trade zone?

Who launched Rapid Response Squad? Who started free healthcare for Pregnant women and children?

How come IGR was multiplied by 10 during his tenure?

Bitterness will consume you!

Pessimist..

Did you see me anywhere write "overnight"?

What matters most is, anyone who will lay the groundwork.
China wasn't overnight?
Even, Jerry Rawlings wasn't liked nor loved as he laid the foundation?
Isn't Ghana better today than when he met it?

Get yourself some sense, none of these thieving leaders possess that insight nor discipline needed to committ to building a better Nigerian future for the ordinary man.
This shouldn't be a tribal warfare. Poverty overlooks tribes.
Just check out the records of each candidate and if you're honest with yourself; you'd know what to expect from each.

This to me is like "deja vu", I remember how my good friend swore with his life that Jonathan will transform Nigeria in 4 years. No 'sensible' person will use a "clean" cloth to wipe "dirt", Peter Obi is a good and upright intelligent man but the present decay and corruption in Nigeria is beyond what he can handle. All this analysis and projections are easy to give when you have not entered the system, we need someone that knows the system and understands how it works to at least bring Nigeria out of the crazy situation she is in to a state where upright men with innovative ideas like Peter Obi can continue from.

If Peter Obi becomes the president in 2023 he will be so overwhelmed with Nigerias problems that many people will mistake it for "incompetence", it will take him at least 20 years before the average Nigerian will begin to feel the impact of all his many transformative ideas but someone that is already part of the system will require far less time to make major transformation. The best bet still remains Tinubu(doubtful because of age) Prof Osinbajo or Amaechi, these men are already part of the system so troubleshooting wont take them very long if their intentions are genuine.

PS- *If you cannot read to understand or analyse without sentiments then don't reply me*

Obi was a former governor. In terms of governance he is already knowledgeable with it. This your analysis is applicable to one who have not Been In position of leadership like governor or senator

Bullshit. Read below and tell me if you need more-

Peter Obi’s administration is the only that met the UN MDGs goal in the whole of Nigeria, even Lagos you couldn’t meet the MDG goals they all signed since 2008. UN has dubbed Peter Obi an ‘MDG champion’ something Tinubu with all the resources and wealth couldn’t do. Are you aware that Anambra has a highly educated population? It’s because of Peter Obi’s passion to education investment and you should know that Anambra has one of the least poverty index rates, NBS and other reputable agencies can attest to that. Why do you think he won an award at the UN. He was the only governor that streamlined his policy with that the UN MDGs goals.
can I see a direct quote or link from UN?

List the specific things he did that are verifiable and cannot be denied by his successors till date. Anambra indigenes keep running to Lagos more and more during and after his tenure so he has to show us specific things he did for us to believe he tried.
