Please, to anyone who applied without an agent to the University of Manitoba and successfully got admitted, I'd like to know if a Waec result was the only document you provided. I'm tempted to upload my secondary school transcript but then I don't know if it'll strengthen or weaken my chances. A reply will be much appreciated as I am trying to apply today or at most in two days.

I don’t remember submit any ssce cert at all…all I submitted was post sec sch cert and transcript

Prior to enrolling in a course, you should check the tuition fee. You probably didn't check.

There are cheaper 1 Year PGD/PGC in Business programs ranging from $12,000 to $18,000 compared to the one you are going for which costs a whopping $27,000 and it's two years.

If you stick to 1 Year PGD/PGC program, perhaps your #7 million would be enough; even if it will be more, it won't be more than 8 million to 8.5million.

Yes I didn’t check ooo, what do you suggest now

Please is there a way a third party sponsor can send documents directly to the embassy?
Is there any provision for that? Or every document has to be released to the applicant

I did mine at qlife with my son. His was tagged "worker" too and was told that's appropriate [1quote author=MediaLady post=113138068]

I did Upfront Medicals with my son yesterday at IOM and "worker" was also listed on his medical sheet. The lady that attended to me became rude as I was worried that the tag was wrong, because my son will be on Visit Visa.

Her male colleague assured me that the "worker" tag on the sheet was the right thing...and that the only tag for anyone accompanying someone on a Student visa was the "Worker tag." I said even for a 5 year old? He said yes. Since, it's their job, I just have to believe them.

Hoping for the best![/quote]

In fact, I’m worried I will not even lie.. I don’t know how to feel precisely. Atleast Eligibility started off for some very few February applicants. I’m not sure I have seen PPR for February just yet, or maybe I missed it. The only thing that changed since February 4th on my profile is biometrics. Lord Have Mercy. Seek for another admission that goes with your purse.

Applications for Winter (Jan) intake are open in many schools. There are schools where you can get admission within 3 days or 1 week if they want to offer you one.

Conestoga College, Fanshawe College among many others.

GCert Leadership program in Uni of Sask is also cheap.

I’m so tired of waiting. I waited a month for my medical request. I waited 2 months for a sputum test and another 2 months for my post X-ray and report submission.

IRCC confirmed receipt of my medicals since Feb 18 and according to my GCMS notes, my case has been “ready for assessment” since Feb 22. Eligibility, criminality and everything passed since last year yet no news. Another 2 months of silence making it 7 in total. The wait is much too long.

Hello. Was your initial medical exam done on the request of IRCC or was it done upfront?

You don't need the medical form if you're going for upfront medicals. It is for people who got medical request from IRCC.

At their request. I didn’t even know about the existence of upfront medicals until I came to this platform. I got my medical request on October 15 and initiated the process on October 20. The same week, I gave my sputum samples.

Chukwuema you have been remembered. Teemenzo your silent prayers are being heard. Most of us are waiting for our own but our prayer is for your dedication on this thread to be rewarded. We are with you in prayers smiley

Chuksiesmom:
I declare that this week will be better than last week. God will increase us and move us into our level of PPRs. Whatever our expectations are, may we receive help speedily and may all strongholds and barriers be broken down in Jesus name for our sake.
Teemenzo, Chukwuemekatehi you have been remembered. It is done.

Hello. Congrats on your PPR. I also used a friend's dollarcard to pay for my visa fees. Does that mean I will incur the same issue?

Hopefully not... I used someones card to pay for the PFL. it was fine. It is about how the card is setup.

Congratulations to you, the long wait is finally over.
A quick question, when you resubmitted your documents. Was it same statement of account you sent again or a new statement of account?

first application April 6 2021: (old portal)Biometrics
April 7th.. Biometrics updated ..July 8th:
May 19: Upfront Medical
Medicals done May 19 ....
June 2 Upfront medical updated
--- no NSE request at allEligibility started July 16th
Request Letter Back charge July 31st
Paid August 2nd PFL Procedural fairness
August 25thResponded to procedural fairness
August 29th Visa denied November 12th

The reason for the PFL/charge back was that my agent used someone's card to pay my visa fees. I was pissed, but I was like...I can't let someone pour sand in my Garri. Initially I thought he was being fraudulent because the person with the card he used to pay wasn't forthcoming with the bank statement. I quickly paid another application fee without an explanation.

IRCC sent me mail showing PFL and a potential 5 years ban saying I should explain why debt to the crown was incurred in the first place. Mogbe!
I was here thinking...how do I explain to IRCC that a friend used his friend's card to pay for my VISA application.Guess what that's exactly what I did. I told IRCC exactly that! and that it was a common problem in the NIgerian banking system.

I also shared a CBN article talking about the dollar limit CBN placed on Nigerian banks.I took it to court to notarize it.
The guy later sent his statement,  I added it to what was sent.
After everything I got rejected on November 12, 2021

I put myself together and reapplied December 3rd with the new portal. (This time I paid full tuition and switched progratailored to my current job experience)No single thing in my application changed. I started classes online which was a story for another day. I sent emails and webforms, no response. At one point I thought something was wrong with the portal! I was like, unlike the old portal where I was getting updatesMedical viewed, with date viewed/ updated. Eligibility etc. This one is nothing! like no single update.

December, January, February, March...I was like hmmmmmmm. Then in March. IRCC responded to my webform saying I should resubmit all the documents I applied with! I was like what!!! IRCC lost my file or what? (by this time some people I started the process with and got rejected were already in the UK asking me how far... wont I jump ship to the UK? that IRCC is using us to catch trips.

I was like sighhh. I encouraged myself in the Lord. I submitted everything again to IRCC through webform. 2 weeks later this time In April 2022. They sent another email saying that I should submit everything again.
This time I panicked . I started calling on God like my life depended on it.

It actually did.Because He is the alpha and Omega, my application is in between. He is El roi ...The God who sees. It was at this point I shared what was going on with Maureen.
Maureen was like I should just hang in there.. and keep believing. Her encouragement was like cold soothing water in a dry and thirsty land.
I also reached out to 2 MPs, they were like its not in their jurisdiction, except it is critical. I emailed one of them saying I have not even gotten an update. He said he will send a mail to IRCC on my behalf. This was third week of april.

IRCC responded to him that criminality has been passed. I was like what does that even mean... Im like okay...
Then I sent another strong, subtle, emotional but stern mail that I think my situation is very critical because my next semester is not online and I really need a response. He sent another mail to IRCC stating that if I don't hear from them in 4 weeks, I should send him a mail.

May 23rd I sent him a mail.Booom!!!
