Having said that, someone should please help me with a job to earn a living.

Had little experience as a Customer Service and enumerator. I can also work remotely. I'm open to any roles and highly teachable.

Island is not for the weak bro .
You are going to regret coming to island with a 150k pay per month . You ain’t gonna be living very well as you do on mainland because your earnings won’t be enough for you again due to some unnecessary expenses island is gonna bring in .
Water is no where to write home about
Erratic power supply . You go buy fuel tire , if you con Dey work from home , your own don be be that .
Things are costly here on island .
Pls stay on mainland and work on how to save and move to a better country where your skills will be highly paid for and appreciated

Sir, I strongly advice you stick to your mainland job regardless of Job security and renumeration

1) Working on the island is stressful due heavy traffic, physical, emotional and mental stress. You will spend > 5 hours cumulatively on the road every day—Thats > 20 hours per week.


No doubt, Fatigue will set in and you will no longer have the time to work for yourself. your productivity on the side hustle will suffer a great deal and in less than 6 months on the island job, you'll start contemplating a job change.


Only make that job switch to the island when you get an offer > 350k

1. Which will be less stressful for you? the mainland job with ur side hussle or the island job?

2. In the island job, can u continue ur side hussle?.

Island is where the big boiz reside, mainland ppl that only know how to birth many kids with not a single plan for them, living lives like animals is where you want to spend your youthful time? My papa say start from the top so that you go fall go bottom.
Bro go to island and start another job hunting there and surely you must see a better offer.

Sounds like a good offer, but if your side Hustle is something that can potentially become a full blown business, I will recommend that you decline the offer

Don't go to the island if the accumulation is the same with that on the mainland. The island stress is hell and the traffic is mad.. Island lunch alone would consume about 40k of the salary monthly.. Well weifh your options especially based on expenses and choose which suits you.

stay on the mainland for your sanity. Navigating between mainland and Island every week can make you get old quickly

If you can afford a house on the island that wont gulp quarter of your salary, move.

Cost of living and flexibility is a key factor to be considered.

Let me spell it out to you that,

Your present job take home and whataview is 150k. The new offer is almost the same as that of your present job inaddition to the side hustle

I do not see reason why you should be worried or having palpitations about your decision

Even if you'd still have to continue doing your side hustle together with the new offer. Have you consider the cost of living (accommodation, feeding, lifestyles et al)

Ask yourself, does it really worth it?

The pay isn't that enticing in comparism to what you earn presently

If you have a place you can manage or a very cheap accommodation that wouldn't gulp 1/4 of your take home and at the same time would not affect or stop your side hustle. Then I'd say you should give it a try. If otherwise, i'd admonished you to stay put in your present job.

Do you simple calculation, factor in the distances, times spent commuting to and fro from the two places, stresses on and off sites, convert them to money, remove them from the salaries, what is your balance??
