Hi everyone. Please I need an expert to tell me what and what I need to get a Canadian study visa without refusal. I am very new to this.
And I’m applying into a college. Financially in like 10m

Thanks in advance.

First of all, you need to secure admission, have your admission letter and pay tuition deposit if any.

After taking care of admission, it's time to apply for your visa. With your 10m, you are financially sufficient to apply for study visa if you don't choose expensive courses.

If you do everything the way it should be done, chances of getting visa approval is high.

No one can guarantee visa. Kindly take note.

Hello Azedolf

This is not the pre-assessment notes though but with the look of this, it should be easy to tackle, work on your sponsor(change from company's account, IRCC always have issues with it especially if the applicant and the said sponsor are not convincing enough about the availability of funds)..

So if you know you won't be able to convince the Visa officer of the use of company's account, then you know what to do..

if you do your homework well, you should get your Visa in your re-application..

Peace

Azedolf:
Yes I already know when the issue is cuz I requested for gcms note last month and get this comment attached here

I posted it on here and people advice and send reference letters from the bank and the sponsor and I did but maybe it's too late..

Now I think I need a guru that know how to tackle this to help me out @makano and others that know about this

It's PPR!!!!!

I can't believe this, I am still in shock, what my God cannot do does not exist.

I began this journey in 2019 through the Express Entry Program then Covid happened in 2020 and everything just pressed stop. I was very frustrated and just gave up on the Canadian journey until last year when my best friend applied and got her Canadian Student Visa, it was just the push I needed to revive my Japa spirit.

November of 2021, I applied to Conestoga college and NBCC, on the 14th of December, Conestoga College gave me admission while NBCC waitlisted me. Immediately I contacted MAKANO to find out what my chances were because I am married and I wanted my uncle to act as my sponsor. He said if I packaged my documents well, I will definitely get an approval, his positivity gave me the courage to go ahead and pay my tuition deposit.

Then , we began the application process, MAKANO was super helpful and patient, always available to answer my sometimes stupid questions, he followed me through the application from the documents needed to my SOP development, final document review and application. I applied on the 7th of February, after which I did an upfront medical on the 1st of March, then the wait began.......

The wait is the worst thing ever, I find myself constantly checking my email and signing into my account, then MAKANO and my best friend advised that I should constantly send emails to IRCC which I did three times daily for over 2 weeks. Last week I sent emails to all the MPs, I didn't get any concrete response from them then my best friend also messaged them last weekend from Canada. I was already getting very frustrated and sad,my husband and friends kept on encouraging me until when I saw the golden mail this afternoon, I just started crying, I cried for over 5 minutes, then I started to call my husband, family and friends.

Please pardon me for my post, it might come with a lot of typo, I am typing this dead drunk.

My Journey started in late September, I was in my room relaxing on my bed when my wife's cousin called me from Canada to say hello. We had a long conversation and he told me it would be nice to have me and my wife around in New Brunswick. Immediately he said that something triggered me to get in on it and I did immediately.

At first, I was going to let my wife do the study thing, but for some reasons I changed my mind that I will be the one to do it.

He sent me the website of UNB but I didn't meet up with the requirements because I had 2.2, I reverted to him and he advised I checked NBCC. I checked in with NBCC, I went to get my NECO certificate, I had my Bsc certificate already and I called my friend and he applied for my transcript, it took about 3 weeks and it was delivered to me.

I applied to NBCC and the wait started, it took about 7 to 8 weeks and these guys won't say a thing, around Christmas they were sending me Christmas messages and I was happy thinking they will admit me for them to send me seasoned greetings, come 31th of December or so i got a bad breakfast, i was waitlisted for the program I applied for, i didn't know what that meant and I contacted Olaide on NL and she told me not to wait on the waitlist I should apply to other schools immediately. I summoned the courage out of desperation and I applied to three more schools namely NCSS, Canadore and Sheridan college. While I was desperate for admission I messaged Niagara college to ask about their admission. Weeks after, On this faithful day I got a call and this lady said she was calling from Niagara college, She said she has been trying to contact me for several days but my emails won't go through and they found my number. She asked about my qualification and work experience, and she told me to apply and make payment and they will review my application. This lady came like an angel and she helped follow through with my application, she was in touch with me from week to week and she assured me if I met the requirement I will get admission. Weeks after, admission came through, I paid the deposit without hesitation and a few weeks after I got 3 admissions from the schools I applied to earlier and that makes it 4 admissions.

I didn't know how else to proceed, I have been following the Canadian student visa section since late September 2021, when the time came to put my application in I contacted frank Robben but he didn't respond to my email and I noticed Makano was very active at the time and have been helpful with questions asked on the platform so I reached out to him he replied almost immediately and we talked, I felt he would be the one to write my SOP, but to my surprise, he said he can't, i have to write my story myself for him to develop on, immediately I went back to a post regarding SOP where the poster wrote a good write up about a cobler (Shoemaking narrative) I followed through and I used it as a guideline (God bless the person that wrote it). I took a notebook and I started writing, I sent back everything I wrote makano, he did his adjustments and sent it all back, I was expecting it to happen within a few days, but it took longer than I thought. Later he sent it to me and I again forwarded it to my friend for review.

Makano gave me a list of the documents to put together and how to arrange them, I couldn't meet up with everything, he advised me to use what I have. I gathered it all and it was time to submit, my documents were way over the 4 MB limit it was 30 something MB for supporting documents and about 12MB for proof of funds, i had too many pages, it took more than 2 weeks to get it down to 4 MB but i couldn't they keep coming out blurry, I had sleepless nights because of this stupid PDF thing, I couldn't go to work, Makano was telling me what and what to do to get it down and God willing I got it down.

I submitted my application on the first of March and the wait started, the evening I applied i told myself I won't let this bother me, I will continue life as usual, but that was a big lie after about the 5th day I couldn't concentrate any longer all my thought was around my application as this Canadian journey determines my going forward with life. I couldn't function any longer, I couldn't concentrate on my work, I was just in a fix and I didn't know how to proceed, I check my email at least 100 times a day ( i am not exaggerating) I realized this Canadian journey is not for the faint-hearted. I struggled to get by from day today

One thing I appreciate most about Makano is his encouragement and he is always checking in, he keeps messaging me to ask how far with my application if there is any update, I tell him baba everything is still the same since the last time.

Just yesterday he was the one who contacted me again to ask if there is any update and I told him no, he asked if my application is up to 13 weeks I told him yesterday makes it 12 weeks, and he said to wait 2 more weeks before I start firing them mails and webform.

Today happened to be another rough day as it has always been, my school called but I didn't take the call they were going to ask about my application and I don't want anyone adding salt to my wound so I didn't pick the call, after I got a mail from the school I just ignored it. I was busy drinking my bullet when I saw a mail icon on my phone I opened it up and it was from IRCC. Immediately i was sweating from head to toe, my balls were soaked in sweat, I chatted with my wife immediately to express my fears and let her know I got a mail from IRCC she encouraged me to log in and check.

My people I opened it and I got the best mail of my life "Original Passport Request", I went berserk i was crying like a baby, I called my wife to share the news with her and again I called Makano he didn't pick. I cried like a baby for soooooo long, I wasn't crying because I had tears to shed I was crying because i didn't believe what the Lord has done for me.

What God cannot do does not exist, God will come for all of us.

To every expectant, it will happen by the special grace of God, to those that have been delayed please do not give up, fire on and do it all over again.

A big thank you to God, Makano, Frank, Just Mellow, Anon, Lekkiboboe, Showyoung, Teemenzo (went quiet), Osemigbo I can't really spell it, and the rest I can't remember their names God bless us all. You have no idea how helpful you all have been on this thread, God will reward you all in beautiful ways.

Hello Only1

I actually laughed reading the bolded, no one can guarantee you Visa my brother..

Even when applicants contact me that they want Visa cos of what they have heard about me, I tell them I am not a Visa officer that give Visa..

The best I can do for your application is to handle your application to the best of my knowledge and expertise, and I pray on every application I work on (Yes, I don't joke with prayers) and all glory to God he has been giving me results which is very visible everywhere, including here..

So nobody can assure Visa, dnt be deceived by all these road side agents... I repeat, no one can assure you of Visa..

Just do your best and commit everything to God by praying about it and see what happens..

This has been working for me (I am giving you one of my secrets for free), it can work for you..

Peace

The story won’t be convincing to the VO tbh.
It’s cut and join somehow and the VO would assume the money won’t be available for your studies in Canada and it’s only for demonstrative purpose. I’ll advise you don’t involve a third party at all.
Sponsorship from two family is enough, don’t add family friend again.
It doesn’t sound convincing.

That’s my opinion tho.

Let gurus in the house contribute.

I wish you all the best.

Hello guys, I need you guys intake on this. I was recently refused for my study visa application based on my personal asset and financial status.

My half sister paid my first semester tuition fee which reflected on her bank statement while my dad opted to support me for my room and boarding but didn't make commitment.

This time around, I intend to show further proof that my half-sister is related to me by blood also, my dad will also be making a commitment of 1m to my personal account and more funds will be sent as my room and boarding upon my arrival in canada. The only issue now is that my dad close friend is willing to make a pledge of $10,000 dollars has a gift upon the approval of my study application and willing to provide a bank statement and sponsorship letter but very important to note that he isn't willing to make that commitment yet except until the visa has been approved

My question is hope it won't be a red flag indicating that my family friend pledged a certain sum of money upon the approval as I originally intend using my sister and my dad as my sponsor whom also have very good inflow and outflow on their bank statements and valuable landed properties

Or should I just remove the third party sponsorship pledge away from the POF

ITS PPR GUYS.

I found out about F&R global from nairaland, he has been termed as the guru. I reached out to him and he responded swiftly to all my questions like he had known me before but I was still skeptical as per Nigerian agent and their numerous stories.

My Frank has been professional from start to finish, made everything seem less for me despite my incessant calls etc but he was calm although.

You always encouraged me despite knowing how scared I was because of my location and how it was going to work out. Always ready to answer my questions even if it’s in the midnight (always waking up to see your replies) @Frankrobbn1 You are truly God sent. Words can’t express how I feel, it has finally ended in praise.

I can’t thank you enough, you have made my 4 years Canada dream a reality. May Almighty God bless you ooo, more referrals trust me. You know your work.

pls to the experience brothers in the house currently base in Canada,I need your assistance,
it is one thing to study a course and another thing to work with it ,I am not traveling because I just want to japa , currently am not base in Nigeria, and I have seen a definition of doing menial jobs just to feed only ,

pls for a person who studied microbiology in Nigeria what is the best course to pick to avoid that ]RAT RACE life after master or PGD,I need your answers mostly from those BASE in Canada.

Getting a professional job after graduation, especially for masters and PGD graduates can be a little challenging due to lack of "Canadian experience" (meaning: not a good fit) or lack of a persevering spirit.

The IT, data science, and computer science industry was booming for the last two years. However, higher interest rates is crushing them and the economy into recession lately.

The best course to do is that which you have some experience or interest in. You may want to aviod anything oil and gas because it's current price and industry recovery may not be sustainable in the long-term.

When you get a student or work visa and enter, network with industry people, particularly Nigerians, working in your field to show you how they do it. The sooner you do it, the earlier you start to prepare yourself and your mind to persevere and be a good fit for your potential companies.

I have already defered once (from January 2022 to September 2022) and their deferral condition is one can only defer 2 times so i guess i should just go ahead and reapply again without telling the school since i have 1 more deferral option if the need arises.

Great plan.

I see you have received many opinions on the way forward. I find it disturbing that Blessed451, with less than 1 month and 3 pages posting on nairaland, is advising you reapply without GCMS note. Please always check people's experience, validated by active post on nairaland, before following their advise. Experience counts over dem say dem say.

Be careful of older members too because some knowledge or experience are outdated. I will listen to people that have 2-5 years of recent and active posting or at least show they have been reading the thread for that long. All the best.

A part of the application form asks when you expect to arrive Canada and the date to leave. For someone who gets a 1 yr pgd admission with an intention to immediately start another one year or 2 year masters plus 2 years work permit. How is the date to leave calculated in this case or what date should be filled in the expected date to leave session? Thanks

Hello Senorita123.
The dates to fill is what is stated in your offer letter (start date and end date, if no end date, calculate 1 yr from the start date).
This is your purpose of visit.

Your intentions to stay longer na for your mind for now. When you get in, you can apply for another course and and extension of study permit which leads to your work permit.

All the best.

I have a question regarding medicals. My daughter is a US citizen and will be accompanying wifey. We didn't apply for a Canada visa for her nor did she do medicals. Would the lack of medicals pose a problem for her at POE?

Thank you for your kind words. Glad its all turning out well.
It would be great to also hear from the experience of others who had same scenario.

Good day. I'm Stephanie and I'm looking to do my masters in Canada. I want to know if there is like a group chat for this whole canada visa where there are gurus and I can hear stories and get help..

Hey Stephanie..
No idea of group chats but this thread has exactly what you asked for.
Follow the thread and get “how to info” on page 1.
What people learn here has helped many successfully get their visas approved.

All the best

I'm not a guru. But if you start from the first page in this thread, you'll definitely have a better understanding of what you need to do.
All the best.

Dear Gurus,

Please I need your advice. I put up a property for sale, hoping to use the proceeds to fund my study in Canada. However, Admission came out before the sale was concluded with just about N2m in my account. I intend paying the full fees for first Semester and having another 10,000CAD in GIC for upkeep and still have about 10m in my account by the time of application. Please what are my chances since its a lump sum or do I defer the admission till Winter? Its a 2 year programme starting next fall.
