So this my personal story.(long read)

I got into the university in 2008 for 5yrs course.

200lvl I wanted to get really serious so there is this girl in my class I really liked but she was a 4/10 ....I told my friends about her and they all didn't feel her at all infact my roomie who was free spirit didn't feel her but I just liked her naturally.
So one day after lectures I approached her and few weeks later she accepted.
That was the beginning of my foolishness.....I really spent alot on that girl, she was on 4k per month from home (foodstuff always sent to her) ,I started to give 5k every month from my pocket money...bruh I did alot of things up to the point her roommate bf called me one on one that am making his relationship difficult with my spending.
I was just happy doing those things even tho sometimes it wasn't easy because I had to dupe my parent alot.

So in our finals (alot of things happened after IT)...she decided to show me her true colors.
After our final exams I had some issues with 2 courses in my 2lvl (dept course) so I needed to bribe the lecturer to waive them since it was AR .....bro I sold my phone (iPhone 4s) to raise cash to pay them so I was really broke...I couldn't call home because I just collected my pocket month.
She was staying with me then ,she couldn't pay her rent so I house her since we are done just project defence remaining.

The babe left me and move to one her friend's place because one guy who was a yahoo boy was asking her out and he was taking her out......she just come once in a while to pick few things.
I later got to know when guys played me the tape and it broke me.....she moved to lagos few weeks later and stated working on the island.
One day I was so hungry that I started running fever I called her to pls send me 1k(1st time in 4yrs of dating her) and she hang up on me.
I cried that day in my spirit, left with no choice I called my kid sis played her what was happening maybe she could just borrow me change, few hours later my phone rang it was my mum ....omo see blasting I just took everything, she told me my dad must not no about my phone..the next day I got alert of 10k ,tears rush down my eye.

I have never bought my mum anything before but I make sure anytime am going home I got my sister something....I did alot of thinking that day and I vow to ever put my mum and sis before any woman until I get married.(2013).

I started working in 2014 (nysc)....my first salary in my ppa which was about 30k I bought everything I could get took it home.
I first approached my dad showed him the money he prayed and told me he doesn't need it but I should give my mum half of it.
I went to mum room divided the money into two gave her half....she prayed for me and ever since then my mum is my priority.

Before I spend 10k for any lady am dating I must have spent 30k on my family.....Alot of ladies have complained about this but I think that the most sensible thing to do.

Guys in uni please I beg you don't make the mistakes we made .....focus on empowering yourself and get the degree.

Learn from this......feel free to date but don't waste money or spend on any lady.

You mean your Dad Left your brother at final year because of a mistake on a Lady. So all the money he sent from 100level to the final just go like that without your brother graduating

Alright, lemme try to give you the best of details as i can remember. It was when i entered 100l, first semester. I was very open to a relationship hoping to have a fresh start, as the girl i was dating before i got admitted got pregnant for another man (story for another day ).
I was made the class rep of my department so automatically i became popular with both guys and girls. I met my ex at one of our chemistry Lab, what really drew me to her was the way she was busy cleaning and sweeping the lab even when other girls were forming clean and Porsche, i walked up to her and complimented her. That was how the story started, she was this quiet kind of person, always keeping to herself and hardly revealing any emotions. I became her father in school because she came from a humble background with a sick Mom and deceased father. I would fetch foodstuffs from my family house load them up just to support her, through out our 4 years in school i was doing photocopies for her, assignment, she seats close to me during test and possibly exams.
I made myself so available to her needs and demand, i never knew it was my greatest mistake. But because i loved her i didn't think twice. I did things for her mehn, at the end she ended up with one of her tribal guy(older than her) who only God knows what he did to her, but prior to this, i noticed she started changing from our 200l second semester and it got worse in our 300l, i was just trying to manage her hoping she would change. She hardly says no to any guy who approaches her, she would freely give them her contact and even visit. I caught her in those lies but i chose to give her a chance and overlook
