From my observance here, it is completely dependent on how straightforward the ECO views your application - 3weeks min though rare now, most take 5-6weeks currently, while a few take longer.

Good evening my mum was denied visiting visa today based on lump sum and inability to prove relationship. Meanwhile we both stated in our letters that I am the main sponsor of everything that does with her trip. Flight, accommodation, cost of living etc.

Also she submitted my birth certificate, wedding and graduation pictures that we took together yet they said she can't prove our relationship.

The worst is they said I don't have the right to contest the decision.

I need advice on how to prove lumpsum relationship, when to reapply. She's meant to come help with our new born. .

Just a personal experience, have you been trying it on your phone? Try sending using your system (a laptop) I've sent 3 paid mails and each time I'm having error message I use my system and it goes through.

There is no fee for VFS use. Except paying for premium lounge which majority dont pay for and which is not compulsory.

I never should have opted for the 'keep my passport' option

Well, TLS has some disclaimer that says if you don't pick up your passport in 28 days blah blah...

In this case it seems they are holding it for almost that amount of time. Surely there must be some redress you can seek. Just sayin'.

Waiting for my MIL visa and we were putting in 50k every month, from her children.
We are the one sponsoring everything for her.

They said that's what I need to upload as my statement of account. How does this work? anybody with similar experience from access bank?

I guess why it takes that long is because you didn’t get official email to drop your passport at TLS, you went there on your own to drop the passport after sending paid mail and got a decision have been made response according to you.

No gree... Stand on their neck that you want the copies too..Submit both the ticket I'd and the statement of account... my friend had a terrible experience though...

Flexi: choose a date, whatever date you pick for biometrics, you can come at any hour on that chosen day and do your biometrics
Primetime: mostly 8am/paid appointmnts on the chosen date. They are locked with arrows when you go on the booking page.
