My sister (May her beautiful soul RIP) did her Uni at University of Uyo and she absolutely loved the people and culture, she even learned some Ibibio and used to teach me some of the language whenever she returned home on breaks, Akwa Ibom is indeed indeed beautiful, neat and amazing state, I have plans to invest there soon.

That state is really cool. I'm still wondering why many don't go there on vacation. Its also very safe , with serene environments, evergreen trees and alluvial soil. It's also an ever-silent oil-rich state. They don't make noise like rivers lol.

Since 2007, nearby Imo state has been having dysfunctional governors who practically closed down urban development in Okigwe and Orlu, the once developing urban centres in Imo. Because the governors don't come from any of the two towns.

Crowd in Owerri, the state capital is now suffocating.

Akwa Ibom is a blessed land with friendly people. They are neat and accommodating. Gov. Akpabio is the best, though, Victor Attah and incumbent Udom are not bad. I enjoyed my stay there and l can not forget the kindness of Akwaibomites to me. Akwa Ibom 'Ayayah'.

There is enough waste, but that is taken care of by an agency saddled with responsibility of controlling, managing &picking up waste on a daily basis called Akwa Ibom Environmental Protection&Waste Management Agency
Akwa Ibom people are environmentally concious people, they keep it Clean&Green state-wide.

Tell your state Governor to initiate one.

Its not wise to rate a state economically viable by having stench from poor waste management, dumpsites, waste littered on major roads in a city. Thats poor reasoning coming from suppose learned fellow.

I remember my service year date back to 2015. It was an eye opener. Very sweet experience in Akwa ibom everything there is just too beautiful from there foods/soups and women

Hustlers not tourist lol. You're actually correct. Not even Nigerians alone but most blacks are. Since I've been visiting Disney Park in LA, I've never counted up to 10 blacks in that place each time. You see mainly whites of different ethnicities, indians too. Same as the Knot's Berry Park Close by. I always ask myself, where are my fellow blacks? Don't they know their way here or what?
