I think u are getting emotional with this Partey situation.

Partey only played 24 games for us this season and it’s not a given we did well in all the matches he played . Smith Rowe on the other hand even as as youngster played 33 EPL games scoring 10 goals in the process. U can’t look at this and say Smith Rowe doesn’t deserve to be nominated amongst our top performers . At a point Smith Rowe and Saka were the most important players in our team.

As regards Ben white’s inclusion he also played 32 league matches compared to Partey’s 24 . It will be difficult to convince people that Partey had more impact in those 24 matches compared to the 32 Ben white played . Although personally I would replace Ben white with Gabriel cos I feel he was more dependable amongst out two CB’s this year sha

I'm not against Smith inclusion but any arsenal fan knows Partey's impact in those games and anybody who watched arsenal doesn't need convincing that Partey ought to be there.
I don't see how 24 games is too small that it would affect his nomination for player of the season when his impact was sufficient for us to achieve top 6(the supposed arsenal's goal/target this season).

I would rather we get 2 midfielders instead of 2 defenders. If we get Hicky, that means we have 3 LBs (Tierney/ Tavarez/ Hicky), what do we need 3 LBs for? not adding Cedric sef who can play LB..We have invested/ wasted a lot of money on defenders over the last 3 seasons. That midfield needs quality and depth which is what we lack. Our priority should be getting 2 quality midfielders and a very good striker.

For those of you who don't know, Hicky is nothing but a mini Tierney but worse on the defensive end. I watched him severally this past season when my Milan side played Bologna and he did not impress me to be honest and that is why I have not discussed him because I don't understand why we are going for him. More so, while he is a LB who can also play RB, Hickey played as a LWB in a 3-man defense which is different from what we do.
