Easterners who join the argument that more states are not needed in the east, should look at what is happening with the conventions and the net effects on eastern candidates. As long as political office holders are going to make the bulk of the delegates, the east will always come last. That's because the delegates represent states and the east has fewer states based on the actions of northern and South western military officers while in power..
