Hello Nairalanders, please I wanna know if I can sue my parents for proselytism.
They are forcing me to do their religion but I think they are denying me my fundamental human right "Freedom of Religion."

Social media has destroyed a lot of families.

This is Nigeria regardless of your tribe, parents are seen as gods.. You must honour and respect them. No matter what, don't do some thing that will have a negative effect on your future, don't make them course you but rather pray to your new God or god to help You through the situation. Then work hard to be on your own as quick as possible then you can do anything you like.

I understand how you feel , but this is Nigeria. If you sue them your name will never be forgotten. I was denied that right too. My forcefully indoctrinated me into Christianity. When I left home I immediately dropped the religion. Now I don't practice any religion.

I have my own family now and I am doing my best to protect my children from any religion until they turn 18 when they can choose whatever religion they like to practice.

Are you saying your parents dont want the best for you and will be happy to see you perish?
