"No amount of fasting, prayer, day & night vigil..... Would drop this visa........ " I can't believe somebody actually made this comment. I couldn't stop laughing when I came across the comment on nairaland.Psalm 127:1 Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. What God cannot do does not exist. A friend of mine just got a visa without using her personal account, she used her father's account and she is twenty-seven years old. Do your best and leave the rest to God. Fast and Pray fervently. Be honest and don't think of overstaying your visit. |

Africankel:Is this a renewal ? Does your refusal letter indicates you have the right to administrative review ? How do you request for administrative review ? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Africankel(m): 1:00am On Jun 08, 2022 |
HRprof:Yes, it's renewal. Refusal letter doesn't indicate that I have a right to administrative review, but sighting the errors from the visa officer, I've sent a complain raising these concerns. Same thing happened in 2020, I requested for a review and had the decision upturned, because it was established that the ECO indeed erred. |

Africankel:Humm! You should request administrative review. This is quite strange for someone renewing. I’m sensing somethings though. What’s the duration of your stay in your last visits? Did you actually quote 6m naira monthly and you’re spending 700k on your trip? Looks like granting visas to those who will not contribute to their economy is now a problem. It’s a trend that I’ve noticed with some renewals. Did you apply for 6 months or 2 years? |

Babysoldier:I haven’t. Application still stuck on 3 greens |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Africankel(m): 6:04am On Jun 08, 2022 |
babyfaiz:1. My longest stay in the UK has been 14 days. I've had 6 months and 2 years visa in the past. I applied for 6 months this time. 2. I quoted N6m annually (that's 500k monthly), I wonder where they saw N6m monthly, when even on the application form, the question was "how much do you earn from this job every year". I stated this in the application and a cover letter. My bank statement also shows this figure (500k) as monthly salary deposits. Source of deposit is from my company account. All documents were submitted. 3. Budget for the trip is 700k. This was well outlined. |

Africankel:reading your refusal letter again… this is so heart wrenching. I guess these guys are overwhelmed with many applications & they making inexcusable mistakes. The reasons the eco wrote doesn’t make any sense. You tick all boxes & your visa ought to be approved. No genuine reason at all. What again do they mean by credits/ deposits linked to your source of income? This is ridiculous. Did you submit your company’s bank statement? My thoughts is that …. they just need to turn some people down all in the name of making money. 6 months visa, spending 700k might be of no benefits to them economically. I would think maybe the decision could have been different if it were a 2 years visa & maybe you said you were spending 2 million. The UK needs money this period. |

Africankel:Reading your “Refusal letter” and am glad you asked for admin review. Where did they get the 11,400 pounds per month from? Am guessing this is why/where they made an error on their part to refuse the application. Instead of working out your income as annual they see it as monthly, thus your finances didn’t make sense to them. I swear they could have asked you for more details since you have already been issues Visas in the past, this is so shady from them. |

vikaosi:Any info from them mine still on the third tracker |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ray7878: 8:50am On Jun 08, 2022 |
babyfaiz:I bet you it was just the annual income instead of monthly etc hence the “Credit/deposit” bit from them. Massive error on their part. They should have just asked if the 11k per month was indeed an error or not. |

Africankel:I think I remember you. You were the one that posted a debit alert from your bank being charged for account verification. Did you eventually find out the embassy that contacted your bank? If it was the UK embassy, then the problem could be from them assuming your yearly pay was monthly. I think your application was handled by an inexperienced eco |

babyfaiz:My bank refused to disclose that information, they say it's confidential. I agree the ECO might be inexperienced or maybe overwhelmed. And they decided to send a refusal mail on my birthday. Omo I won't be angry sef. |
